    The Wonka thing made a big show of itself as being a much bigger and better production than it was. Glancing at this Facebook event, it seems like “dude in a Bluey costume and a couple loose activities at a hot dog restaurant” is exactly what they were advertising, and therefore exactly what the adults in this

    <insert Black Mirror gif>

    The event that the article actually describes was that a Rivian driver said a Tesla fanatic called the cops on him. I’m sure that is in fact the way it went down, but the Tesla guy wasn’t telling people about it. You guys reading these things?

    I mean, it -is- nothing, but if I’m going to pay $50 for an insulated cup (which I’m not) and there’s the choice between a lead one and a lead-free one, I would probably go with the lead-free one.

    Guys in big white pickup trucks are CONSTANTLY driving like assholes, fight me

    My dad calls it “wet cement gray”.

    I would be fine returning to the days of just buying a game once, MAYBE an EP later on, and that was it.

    The worst part about this is that if they actually go through with it and don’t immediately go out of business, every other fast food chain will also do it. Netflix and password sharing all over again.

    Literally everything I know about sports, I learned from these games. Would definitely buy.

    It’s not that there’s a shortage of bags out there, it’s that a shortage is being artificially created under the guise of “environmental protection”.

    There’s no plastic bag ban for people who don’t have to worry about money. If dropping $1-5 on reusable bags once you get to the store doesn’t affect your bottom line, you can just do that and throw the bag away later. It’s just another policy that makes it more annoying to be poor.

    As a city dweller, if I ever bought an EV I -would- need it to have a big battery I could charge at home and then bring to wherever the heck I manage to park that day.

    I seem to remember being forced to do Blitzball exactly once very early in the game and then never having the option to go back to it??? Was I playing a different game???????

    Also maybe the demographic least likely to catch flak for showing up 15 minutes late with a breakfast sandwich...

    If you actually like musicals, the songs in the Mean Girls musical are pretty damn good actually.

    This only works if you don’t live alone (which, if you follow this article, you soon will be).

    You were definitely my favorite writer here, I hope whatever you’re doing next makes you very happy!

    A lot of people in conservative circles seems to use “pray” as a synonym for “think”, e.g. “I’m going to pray on this”. So, make of that what you will...

    It’s intentional, they build in trick sets.
