“A weird guy came through and now my roommate is crying” is 100% a situation I would NOT intervene with unless my roommate and I were really close... maybe not even then.

This does kind of make me feel better about the whole Manchin/Sinema thing. Not by much... just a little.
probably the same reason anyone wants to work any job, which is to get paid money
Plenty of jobs have dress codes, but like, YEESH.
Redactle has become my new favorite.
I think there’s a culture of being “above” fashion for self-identified gamers and other types of nerds, and so companies don’t have an incentive to pay designers to make anything tasteful. When I do see something that I can use as an adult member of society without getting weird looks, I usually jump on it.
Spread some peanut butter on your lawn and garden tools—including wooden handles—before storing them for the winter. It will keep them well-preserved throughout the cold weather, and ready to roll come spring attract every single rodent that has ever existed to the relative warmth and comfort of your garage
Check with your school - teachers are public employees and there may be fairly strict rules about whether they can accept gifts at all.
So this game was released... less than 30 days ago? And I feel like I’ve been putting a LOT of time into it, the last couple weekends I’ve barely even touched my PC. But even with all that I’m nowhere NEAR having a level 100 Pokemon for this. I guess I’m just a filthy casual? Or does this seem unreasonable to anyone…

What a weird pitch for an article, sounds like something they didn’t want to pay for on a business website so you brought it here.

tbqh, yes I was fine with a game being complete at launch and then not updating again.
I seem to recall a scene where Kate was recounting the pregnancy, being advised by her doctor to “reduce” (i.e. abort) some of the fetuses and being DEAD SET against that for some mysterious reason that definitely wasn’t (read: obviously was) her being a fundamentalist.
A “good price” on ad-supported content is $0.
Has anyone else noticed people getting a LOT more toxic between OW1 and OW2? I played OW1 pretty much every day and would get an “everyone else on this team sucks but I am great” guy once in a while... I feel like in OW2 it’s every single match.
The “little Black woman” thing is really illustrative. Either the word “child” didn’t occur to him or it -did- occur to him and he realized on some level that saying it would point out how unfounded his “fear” was.
Race and racism certainly exist in Japan, but they don’t discuss it in the same way that Americans do. It’s a different context - literally different people with different history (although that history also, I want to stress, contains a LOT of racism). The reason why creating an ethnically homogenous setting seems…
Absolutely classic British behavior.
