Counterpoint: like workers in every other position, some teachers just do not do a good job. This article seems to take the stance that there’s NO way the teacher could actually be the problem, and that simply is not true. Maybe there’s a personality mismatch, maybe there’s bias, maybe they can’t get fired and they’re

Valid take, I’d just as soon remove all the cosmetics focus from the game entirely.

If you really haven’t experienced the difference between “free to play” that’s constantly trying to get you to buy stuff (unnecessary though it may be) and a game where they are not doing that, I’m not sure what I can say to illustrate it to you.

I miss the days of paying for a game once when you bought it.

If OW1 was still up I would have just kept playing that. I haven’t found a single OW2 change that I actually like.

The challenge for me has been getting the game to run. My PC could handle OW1 just fine but something about OW2 makes it crash. I’ve never gotten all the way through a match.

This is pretty unfair to Eastern State Penitentiary. In the last few years they have really cut down on the “fun” programming and have shifted their focus to prison reform and the history of the carceral system, with an eye on how much harm it has done through history. Yes, the haunted house stuff pays the bills, and

It doesn’t cost them more money for a copy of the game to be downloaded in the US than it does for the same copy of the same game to be downloaded “in Argentina”... we need to stop perpetuating the idea that “money a company feels they could have made” is the same as “money a company lost”.

“Elitist cabal” = LOUD dogwhistle in case you missed it

If only they had a months-long beta period before this where they could have ironed this stuff out...

Just give PC players aim assist too, problem solved.

As a tank main, there’s not a lot I hate more than solo-tanking, so I can’t wait to [checks notes] always be solo-tanking by design.

Unless all the merchandise is behind a glass case, any retail job is going to require the employees to straighten the store up after customers. Sucky though it may be... that is basically the job.

Leaving your (well behaved) kid to their own devices in public is one thing. Kids have the right to exist in public space. Expecting the employees to be responsible for keeping kids from wandering off... very much NOT the same thing.

Can you really use present tense “is” to describe something that is currently kickstarting and won’t be publicly available until (checks page) the end of next year???

Seems like one of those statistics that is much less convincing if you think about it for 2 seconds. I would suspect that people who do have 5+ hours of free time every day don’t have work, family, or community obligations. So they’re likely to be impoverished and isolated, of COURSE they’re not happy.

As a die-hard Mystery Heroes player, I have to say I do not find the OW2 changes to be heartening.

I’m with you, I thought the modern day narrative stuff was really interesting and I think if you cut it out completely, there’s almost never a particularly interesting story in any Assassin’s Creed game. (Murder guy does murder? Tell me MORE...)

Pennsylvanian here. The few women Republican voters I’ve had the displeasure of talking to have told me that they vote Republican SPECIFICALLY to ban abortion. So the polls are reassuring to me, but not THAT reassuring...

As a Real Adult I have like 2 gaming hours per day at most, so the less time I have to spend grinding the same 3-4 wild Pokemon the better IMO.
