    Yeah, everyone who’s taken a liberal arts school film class has heard the same opinion repeated ad nauseam from “Sensitive Artiste” brand straight boys who think they’re deep. Funny how the movies they defend as “real art” always seem to cater to the same crowd... just... what a mind-boggling coincidence...

    I tried one of those amateur bowling leagues and got put on a team with a bunch of people I didn’t know well, and it was still WEIRDLY competitive.

    Yeah, I stopped buying from them when they got bought out in 2017. Kind of wish there was better news, because I like the stuff I got from them.

    “Wow, thank you, it was so nice of you to think of me!” will do well enough in most situations. Just shift the focus to the effort they put in/how they went out of their way for you/etc..

    I assure you, for MANY positions where they ask this question at interviews, that person does not exist. They ask this question at interviews to be a fast food cashier.

    This is the most irritating question. “I want to work here because I need to receive a paycheck in order to not be homeless” should be more than enough.

    I can’t say I’ve ever been in a situation where I need emergency shoelaces...
