Well, a lot of these people think that the only acceptable behavior from women, people of color, and/or LGBTQIA+ people is complete silence. There’s no beating around the bush about it. They just hate us.

I don’t have a stand mixer, but it seems to me that using one would free up your hands for other kitchen tasks (or even cleaning up), as opposed to using a hand mixer or immersion mixer where you have to hold the mixer and the bowl the whole time you’re using it.

I could take on extra work, but “more” responsibility would not necessarily be “greater” responsibility.

I have a low-level clerical job which is ok for paying the bills, but I’m not exactly learning new skills or making big achievements to put on a resume. Most of the other people with my job title are middle-aged folks who seem intent on keeping the job until retirement. How do I get out?

Really started to go downhill for me when I was added by my 2nd cousin’s wife, a 60-something lady who I have no blood relation to and don’t know well, but who insists on adding comments on everything I do.
