It depends if it has stuff you like in it or stuff you don’t like in it.

Legitimately didn’t know about sleep deprivation and skin problems, and...that explains a lot.

    Because they believe:

Whenever I roam through my town calling out, “Bonjour, bonjour!” the locals always whisper amongst themselves about how strange I am. Actually, rather than whispering, they do a whole song about it? What can I do about this?

I think if you want a game to be a “third place” you can’t take it too seriously. That also means you can’t care too much about winning. “The place where I hang out after work to relax” and “a competitive ladder where I have to be at my best to get to the top” are just mutually exclusive ideas.

You’d think these guys would be a little more self-aware since the guillotine is coming back into vogue.

    Looks fake to me.

Yeah, I do wish they had a way to order ahead of time. Dunkin’ Donuts’ mobile order app lets you put down your order and then tap “I’m ready to pick up” when you’re close, which is nice.

Call me a soulless millenial corporate shill but I LOVE ordering on that app (or any app). When I want a goofy drink customization I don’t want to have a conversation about it, I just want it written down so that they know exactly what to put in.

R.I.P. SPF, who didn’t give a shit about whether the landlord got paid, but had to spend all their time worrying about it anyway.

I hate to answer questions with, “here’s why I’m not giving you a real answer”, but if you’re just travelling for a short time, do you NEED to learn the language? You’re not going to be a more enlightened tourist because you can say, “I have a red dog,” which is about as far as you’ll get unless you approach language

Find your local Buy Nothing group. Lots of times you will find a neighbor who is looking for your “useful, but not to me” items.

Sims 3 was tough on the hardware, but I can’t honestly say there’s anything in 4 so far that makes me like it better than 3.

This is a VERY smart business idea. [Especially as a lot of internet/manga cafes aren’t all that accessible to foreigners.] Would definitely stay here if I were vacationing in Japan.

[W]hen I play the game without MC Command Center, the Sims I’m not playing won’t get pregnant. With the mod installed, they do.

Find your local anarchist group and see if they have a space for them.

Parks and Rec was really on top of their future predictions, huh?

“A restaurant” should allow kids, but a “craft beer gastropub” enters iffy territory for me. Sam, you may just have to accept that you’re not that cool anymore.

This has certainly been said before, but picking up cooking as a hobby will eventually save you a LOT of money on dining out, lunches, etc..

The apartment company gets a kickback from the towing company, guaranteed. Or it’s the landlord’s brother or cousin or something like that.
