    Kaepernick NOW.

It serves a practical purpose! They’re not just being “mean” - they’re reminding the public that their actions can have consequences for other people. So this microwave idiot, who probably figured the only one he would be hurting is himself, might have actually thought twice had they had the empathy to realize he

WHOA. No, there is a standard. There is some inherent danger in using a meat slicer to slice meat. If you cut your hand on a meat slicer, slicing meat, that’s one kind of accident.

Yes, they are being judgmental. That is the point. Anyone with half a brain in their nut would be judgmental of what those idiots were doing.

Actually, yours isn’t a great response. Theirs is 100% accurate and true and good.

    lol Not at all!

I’m not sure I understand what the point of contention is here. It sounds like the Cake Guy is saying he will serve gay customers, but he won’t make a cake that is itself overtly depicting gayness somehow? Because I would have to agree that he shouldn’t have to make something that makes him uncomfortable for whatever

My bet continues to be on Rey somehow being Anakin/Vader. Check out the shape of her hair in that poster...looks a bit like Vader’s helmet.

Thank you! That’s the fucking spirit!

That’s really silly. Some of Tarantino’s writing is...problematic...at times, but he is undoubtedly one of modern cinema’s GREAT directors. The only problem I can see with him directing a Star Trek movie is that it’ll stand out in the franchise because it’s so much better than the rest.

You’re right - I shouldn’t have said it like that. I do what I can which is limited because I’m not in a position to help in a real practical way. As far as I can figure out the best I can do is speak out against it and not let people around me who might say racist things go unchallenged. I will not be complicit.

Who’s the lady in the picture?

Nope, no, nooope. Ignoring the fact that it’s a VERBATIM quote from a COMEDY movie, the line is inherently funny and obviously so. There are only two kinds of people I hate: people who are intolerant of other cultures and the Dutch??? Don’t you just get why that’s funny without the reference to Austin Powers?

“What the actual fuck are you going on about?”

Well, I don’t want to sell myself short, but when I picture “BIG HANGING DICK” it’s not what I see in the mirror.

    You.

It’s not that I entirely disagree with you, but I don’t know what’s so difficult to accept about the idea that a story is focused on interconnected characters. And I mean the movers and shakers of our own world travel in relatively tight circles so it’s very common to see surprising and unlikely connections in reality

Yikes worst week. Let me guess? You laid on the dirt floor of your mud-hut, insides cramping with hunger, watching flies crawl in and out of the nostrils of your starving and malnourished infant? That sound about right or was your week better than that?
