Never have I seen someone be wrong so many times in a row and still come back with some sort of smug comment.

Oh ok so it's not a homophobic slur in Eastern Europe it's just a sexist one.

Lmao tf? My example with the word "ni**a" (I'm going to self censor, but thanks for informing me that it's "faggy") was exactly the same thing. It's idiots who say that they're reclaiming the word to mean something else when they really aren't. In the DC area my description of how the n word is used is the same as how

Yeah that "A fag isn't a gay guy, it's someone who's being an asshole" line of thought is for idiot teenage white males who don't know anything about other people and quote South Park with their friends like it's comedic gold. It's the same as "a ni**a isn't a plack person, it's a stupid black person who steals shit"

Well I think the fact that the show had gay writers eases it a little bit. And after my last boyfriend I barely even get offended by the stereotype, because some people really LIVE it (and it's not a bad thing).

I'm sorry but all these arguments do is expose a lack of empathy.

I disagree with your comparison of the rainbow to pink for women. It would be more accurate to compare it to them lighting the bridge pink for breast cancer awareness day. The rainbow isn't just something people thing that stereotypical gays like, its a symbol of being inclusive and allowing all colors of sexual

I mean I don't think that the meme is hilarious or anything but it's basically a more subtle way to say "This was your fault and I know you're going to try and blame it on someone/ something else so I did it first and made you feel dumb about it"

At UMD setting up the internet on gaming devices is a pain so some people (like me) just don't do it. You can't go through wifi, so you need a cable, and you have to go online and spend 30 minutes allowing the MAC address access to your dorm's internet before it will connect. It's just a hassle, and something I don't

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but did anyone go in the house with the tear playing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and listen to the voxaphone where the agent is like "Where do you get your ideas from, your music is so unique and inspired!" and then if you listen to the song playing from the record player

We saw it in school one year and I was surprised at how incredibly awful it was. The sets looked cheap, the acting was cheesy, and the fight scenes were super awkward and anticlimactic. Truly do not understand the praise that movie receives.

I would probably agree, I've only listened to his first two albums and the mixtape that came out in between them, I think both of the songs I like are from that mixtape.

B.o.b is the wooorst. Beast mode and how he do that were good but everything else is just mindless and awful. He did a show at my school last year and it was the lamest live performance I've seen in a while.

The use of the word rape in that context is just awful.

Why have I seen this same argument used incorrectly so many times?

what are 12?

It was big when I was in middle/ high school but I thought it sort of died off afterwards. I get that it could just be because Im not surrounded by high schoolers anymore, but I was kind of hoping that we were just done with it...

I absolutely cannot stand Macklemore. His music is just so clean and polished so that it doesn't offend anybody and that annoys me to no end. He seems pretty smart and he can rap, but his music also seems so manufactured to appeal to the 17 yo white boy crowd I can't take it.

Macklemore is terrrrible. It's rap for people who don't like rap. He's like a smarter Hoodie Allen/ Chiddy Bang, or a dumber Asher Roth.

thats just depth of field, tilt shift would be a more extreme version of that.
