I don't think there exists anything more boring than bacon as a meme at this point.

I can think of a ton of benefits to Twitter. If you follow the right people, your feed can be extremely informative, and not just in terms of hearing about news stories immediately (although that is nice too). There are tons of writers, comedians, and musicians that post to Twitter almost exclusively, so if you want…
I've learned more from Twitter than I have from just about anything else on the internet. The trick is to only follow people that are smarter than you.
"This is unnecessary according to me."
The comments on this are absolutely horrible. Why do people keep reading Kotaku when they clearly disagree with the inclusive culture this site is trying to create?
I know you're joking but a "super manly mountain beard" on a guy that lives in the city is the #1 sign I use to tell if someone's gay.
Lol are you saying that you read his comment and don't think he's bothered by it at all? Because he clearly is.
I've had my M8 since launch and it's running about 3x slower now than it did when I bought it. Everything is slow, unlocking the phone half of the time doesn't even work (like if you lock it then try unlocking quickly). I know I should factory reset it and make sure I only have necessary apps multitasking at any given…
"Lets name our comedy show 'Nacho Punch'"
I'm not sure about slowness, haven't noticed anything slow myself, but I do agree that the interface isn't very user-friendly. Lots of small bizarre design decisions add up to make a frustrating interface. Then again I owned a PS4 for a little while and had similar frustrations with that interface as well, felt like…
"UIs should be designed to be easy to used no matter the target market." Of course, but the point is that you don't need to design the hardcore UI's to death, because the hardcore users know enough about typical game conventions to make it past those issues. And that's what makes casual games harder to develop for.
I didn't mean technical knowledge quite as literally as you took it.
This quote is 100% true. I only know about human computer interaction from a software engineering point of view, less from a gaming point of view, but this line of thought drives the entire field. When you develop software for less technically minded people it becomes less about the functionality of the software and…
Any experienced artist or art critic will tell you it's the other way around!
Did I miss something? How did this review not mention Borderlands? That's got to be by far the worst example of "humor that gets in the way of the game" for me.
Wow this guy's actually funny! Was not expecting that.
He's not calling Notch out on accepting Microsoft, he's calling Notch out on being a hypocrite.
I like the first two Borderlands but at this point the game's humor is the biggest turn off to me. I don't think I laughed once at the second one, and it's like the most annoying, grating humor if you're not into it.
Yup. You're making assumptions.
I actually do let my sexuality define me, and that's totally okay. I don't think any one thing has shaped my personality more than growing up gay in a straight world. Not saying that all of that can be condensed into a rainbow ps4 but it's not a good look to tell other people that their sexuality isn't a big deal.
