Here's a band from my college town. This song is goddamn cute.

Here's a band from my south Alabama hometown that I wish would have made it fucking big. This was some big shit for a 14 year olds first show, and killed me when they split up.

To continue the 90s theme, here is one of my favorite bands from the childhood. The Refreshments!

"...is a real boy" has been on repeat in my car for the past couple of weeks! "...was a real boy" isn't as good, but 'I Can Get Sexual Too' would be my karaoke jam if I ever sang in front of people.

Keeping with the dog theme, here is Dog's Eye View! Also because fuck you the 90s were pretty great, but not in that "hey if you remember this you're a 90s baby and those were the only good years" type of way.

Speaking of weird one-offs, here is Dogs Die in Hot Cars winning the what-the-hell award for "who thought of that band name" so far for the night.

Up next, my favorite weird one-off band...Parenthetical Girls! A little too "art school" to fully enjoy, but this song tickles my jibblies.

And up next in the rotation...The Scissor Sisters! Mostly just going out to the employee that ruined my night.

In the interim, I think I'll just post random music videos for anyone who might be interested. Because that's probably going to be most of what I do with my night.

Thanks for the Closer reference! Even though she was my least favorite part of that. I hate Julia Roberts with an unquenchable fiery passion, but she came through in that one.
