Well, anything they can dig up that’ll stick to this dickhead is good, but he’s got an entire system behind him that is willing, and able, to metaphorically hose him off every time he ends up covered in shit. It’s stunning how every single fail-safe designed to prevent this from happening failed, and how nothing has

But that would be inaccurate : ) I would say demographically behind the times and unresponsive to increasing income and wealth inequality. So, I guess that makes me a Blue State person....

Ah, you want me to explain the whole social security thing? You know it’s very complicated, right?

I am. We have something for everyone. The town I live in is pretty liberal (1st fair trade town in the USA!) but there are more and less liberal places surrounding Philly.

Are you aware that Obama deported more people than any previous president? More than Bush 2 even.

This smug response is a kind comfort to families afraid to leave their homes across a country not led by Clinton or Obama right now, thank you.

Ok, I’m confused now. What does that have to do with the pension obligations of the postal service?

Try suburban philly.

I’m in PA and although it’s not nearly as extreme as what you describe, I’m feeling it here as well.

We do too. I think all workplaces do that. Otherwise how can you have an efficient enterprise?

Let’s not let the corporations off the hook. We don’t even have to raise taxes on them; we just need to stop letting them evade taxes by pretending the iphones are made by a company located in a closet in Ireland.

I have a government job. My coworkers and I work hard and are damn proud of what we do. Don’t assume all government employees lack passion for their work. Also, are you implying people who work in the private sector never succumb to 9-5 syndrome? That would be very ignorant.

If only there were some easily identifiable persons and organizations in those municipalities who had profitted on the backs of the citizen laborers and are thus well overdue to kick in their share, commensurate with their scope of revenue surplus as a functional liability multiplier against the local median

Nope. The economy is 75% retail driven. If people can’t buy the product the company is selling, there IS NO BUSINESS.

That’s a good point. So you think it’s a code word, like “urban.” Makes sense, the bastards, most of them born on second base and believing they hit a double....

I like what our government provides for us. I simply want them to do it better. Cutting costs isn’t the only solution. Maybe there needs to be changes to how things are done, little ones, but little ones that matter and add up. We need people who care enough to get involved, not just kick the damn can.

Kicking the can

Wasn’t our government already having money problems (a little thing called a recession)and others before Obama became president with Bush being the president for 8 years? If you also do some research, you’ll see ever since Reagan was president, Obama had the third highest average monthly job growth as president. Both

Fewer government sector jobs means a bigger labor pool, means even more downward pressure on wages. More leverage to shut people’s unpopular and “socialist” opinions up, make them work unpaid overtime, put up with unsafe or grueling conditions, or there’s a line of people outside waiting to put up with all that plus
