People still love Adventures of Milo and Otis

I have the feeling the script for this movie was written in about an hour, after Universal noticed how many hits the trailer for Secret Life of Pets was getting. I see nothing but cynicism in every aspect of this film. No one working on this gave a damn about dogs.

I'll admit I haven't really heard Josh Gad do a not-Olafy voice before (even most of his live-action stuff I've seen has him doing an Olaf voice), but I was genuinely surprised to learn that was him doing the dog's voice.

So it's going to make dogs look like hateful fucking bastards?

It also explains why Michael Caine appeared in Cars 2.

Producers is more famous, for sure, but I would switch it with Silent Movie. It's some of the best slapstick and visual humor ever put on film, particularly the Engulf & Devour CEO frothing at the mouth, the rising table scene, Brooks becoming a wino, and Marcel Marceau's cameo.

What the hell are you worried about! This is 1874; you'll be able to sue her!

Though when it comes to Spanish Inquisition humor, even Brooks couldn't handle the sheer brutality of The Comfy Chair!

*Stammers* I didn't know there'd be so many!

The local theater in my town is doing a production of The Producers starting this weekend. I get to interview the director tonight for a local paper and hopefully see the show this weekend. Can't wait. Only seen the original film, plus a few minutes of the 2005 movie that I turned off because it was obnoxious.

"Are we awake?"
"We're not sure. Are we… black?"

Just like The Spaceballs Hanukkah Special!

Hey, c'mon, give the Blue Collar Comedy Tour some credit for destroying the art of humor as we know it! (Ron White aside.)

Same deal, more successfully, with David Cronenberg's The Fly.

If a troll falls on the internet, does it truly annoy?

"Shower" got ruined for me. My go-to means of cleansing has now become a tub of unspoken horrors.

The Extra-Firm

Warner Bros. announced today that the entire cast of Attack on Titan will be portrayed by Matt Damon.

Thanks to Hulu, you can watch The Running Man while also experiencing it in real life!
