No, it didn’t hurt so I didn’t even think it was a big deal. I wasn’t going to be a punk bitch and miss the race over a bruised toe. Of course it turned out to be the worst thing I could have done, the doctor said I was lucky the infection wasn't worse and he didn’t have to cut the toe off

It took 2 years to grow back and stay. I think I damaged the nail bed so bad that everytime it would grow it wouldn’t be attached to the bed, so at some point it would get caught on something and rip off again. Finally it healed up enough that the nail has fully grown back and is secured to the toe
