I’ve traveled alone on the majority of my treks, and I’ve found just being polite (in tune to local customs, of course) helps people talk to you and friendships to be founded. I'll be doing more field work in a couple of weeks!

As someone who works with autistic teenage girls, I find this disappointing. I understand that the airline overacted, but on the other hand, I cannot blame the airline for doing what they needed to do to keep the community (this case, the plane passengers) safe.

According to this logic, the next time a man refuses to say “hi” to me, a random stranger, I’m going to drag his body to the woods. Like a girl. He deserved it.

It’s concerning to me as well. Abortion is a simple medical procedure that’s relevant to women’s health. I hope that these young women and girls can obtain them if that's what they want. I too, am clinging to that thread of hope.

The women or girls that want them should be able to obtain them, in my opinion. I’m not sure if that inherent right has been vetoed or not.

This is heartbreaking. I hope that these women and girls continue to get the support that they need.

I think it’s still difficult to live in many parts of Scotland now a days. I’ll try and check out that series, but as of now I’m addicted to Red Dwarf. If I can pry myself away I’ll check it out.

The house has an historical building thing on it, is made of stone, and has floors built on an angle so that you may gallop around with a lean if you walk. It’s also next to a funeral home, but that does not bother me.
