It would have been more fun to watch if they never started taking their relationship so seriously. I feel like there was one moment of a sweet spot between “office crush” and “everything about this relationship is do or die” and we flew right past it.

It was incredibly awkward to watch even with that episode. “Holy shit, I can walk again!...Welp, byeeeee.”

I had this thought last night that the show will use Holly/Denise’s death from the comic books to kill Carol/Daryl at the same time. It would have a nice symmetry to it re: the way Sophia died and be a good/horrific ending to their relationship.
