I've always interpretted more as 'you may not get the ending you wanted.' The film sets up points of climax and hero/villain narratives that it consistently subverts, while the most tense and dramatic scenes are trivial encounters or unexpected moments. We all think we know the story of our life, but that's just the

Agreed. That still seems easier than 'civil war' though. This is going to be an arduous effort no matter what.

Only if you decide it is. I'll fight at your side if worst comes to worst, but I really would rather not. I have family on the other side. They are still people. It is easier to educate than it is to eliminate, and you need to know neither is an easy proposition.

Small Bill$ was my first real exposure to Regina Spektor and now I feel like a pleb for not listening before 2016. Also Strange Mercy by St. Vincent is a defining statement that I think only grows stronger the more years pass.

Asido is great. If you like Emily Haines, check out Metric if you haven't yet (although I'm sure you have). Jenny Hval, Chelsea Wolfe, and St. Vincent are also favorites of mine that might scratch your Sia/Florence itch. Also I'm sure you're aware of it, but if there is at all a chance anybody reading this hasn't

You despicable furry-hating hedonist.

I don't give a shit if he wants those genitals to pee on him or not… If it gives you satisfaction to pee on his grave, piss away. You deserve it.

I still say it's important we remember the true toll of war and division and try to work together despite the furor of the opposition. If our country is weak enough to let Trump divide us, it's not worth saving at all.

Sometimes, when something has been repeated so often that it becomes rote, the best way to remind people of its importance is through song. Please keep singing, James.

Well great. Now all of ten people are going to protest the hell out of Star Wars 8 on twitter…

It's insignificant in terms of cost to the military, which is what a recent investigation revealed, which makes this whole decision all the more questionable. There MIGHT be an argument for keeping trans-persons out of combat duty over hormone medication, maybe. But this, as it was delivered, is a ban on all positions

This is actual a genius premise for a program, considering how the only time I ever watch HBO is in a hotel room.

It's taken them 6 years to correct a finale scheduling error. And it hasn't actually been corrected yet.

The problem is it WAS a partisan issue, and it was argued about (and ignored) for a long time. And then the whole damn world came together and addressed it. This was over. And then nobody held Trump accountable for anything during the election while incessantly blasting Hillary for every possible infraction.

Perhaps most memorable was the gaff were he claimed responsibility for creating the internet, which was another fame-seeking insertion point. He has a long history of activism and conservation combined with a public perception of disingenuous behavior, so honestly I don't see their caricature of him as being that left

I think they're intertwined, with opposition to one strengthening and 'radicalizing' the other. South Park doesn't seem complicit in either, from my perspective, and in fact in recent episodes appear to be just as much at a loss over the whole situation as the rest of us.

They're letting the state drown, for political affiliation.

If this review is accurate, it seems like their lampooning of Al Gore as a self-obsessed opportunist manufacturing an alarmist narrative out of any subject that will get him attention is a justified point of satire. It was never about climate change, that's kind of the whole assertion of the joke.

'No Trump from now on' I see as a response to one of two things: 1) Trump oversaturation (and after last season we realize that they have nothing further to add on him), or 2) An implicit admission of some degree of guilt in his empowerment. Either way, I think the wisest thing for them to do is to take a step back

She'll be in Avengers 3 explaining just that. Called shot, enjoy your nerd cred 2018 me. I'm sure it will finally be worth something then.
