It’s been pretty clear for a while that nobody at DC realizes he’s a villain, so why would Mr. The Rock think differently?

The introduction of Gypsy means it would be possible to do a scene where the CW versions of Vibe, Steel, Gypsy, and Vixen are all together. JLDetroit4Life.

TSA: A bunch of fucking assholes.

I think it struck me, on my first encounter with it, as being awfully reminiscent of the era of black performers putting on blackface makeup. But I also note that this look for Mr. Terrific debuted close to 20 years ago, so clearly very few people agree with my initial impression, and that I own at least one Mr.

It’s not blackface, but from when it was first introduced in the comics this version of the mask struck me as...problematic. In his very first appearance, this Mr. Terrific just wore sunglasses, and that made more sense than a black “T” over his face.

Evan McMuffin?

Can you tell that a black guy ISN’T playing Obsidian?

Geoff Johns has written an awful lot of comics full of blood, death, and gore for someone who’s now talking about “hope and optimism.”

On a related note, this photo is nine kinds of awesome:

Step 1: Burn it down. Down to the ground.

At least Liefeld’s art is spectacular in its awfulness. You look at that and you think, by god, what goes on in the mind that made this? Lee’s, by contrast, is just boringly awful.

They’ve done a Pontiac Bandit episode in each of the subsequent seasons, too.

Batman’s the only reliable character DC has, box-office wise. No Superman movie since about 1981 or so has performed up to WB’s expectations, GL bombed, Hex bombed, etc.

What annoys me is that the twist ending undoes all of the work Bellisario put into the rest of the episode supporting the Warren Commission’s findings. The ballistic evidence, etc. would have been completely different had Oswald killed two people and hit a third.

It’s like he’s the narrator of Red, White, & Blaine just noticing the audience there.

Privatizing airport security is pointless if the private screeners are going to use the same technology and same protocols that TSA does.

DC nerdbros are the funniest nerdbros.

I’ve created a model that estimated SS’s daily box office based on the day-to-day drops BS experienced over its run. If the same pattern holds, it will take 67 days of release for SS to hit $300 million domestic box office. Having said that, the actual box office is running about $2 million ahead of the model’s
