Humans are aliens... to aliens.

Nah, 2 years ago we would have been well into the second term of the president who caught Bin Laden, so “no leader on the throne” wouldn’t really fit.
Look, I don’t care that they didn’t have a plan, that “All Along the Watchtower” scene was freakin’ awesome. When all the characters start to sing along to it, it was just so bizarre and unusual.
Sure they did. There was a movie about it and everything.
I want more female lead characters, like anyone else, but I’m not sure why so many seem to be demanding this male character be remade into a female one. Sure, it’s possible in the fiction, but why is it so important? Why not make a new female character and have her establish herself on her own merits? Would that be…
It’s almost as if the screenwriter, director, and actor all believed the story was worth telling and the character was interesting as opposed to you know “how could anyone be Superman and NOT kill people?”
I know the man is grieving and I feel horrible for saying it, but....Snyder’s shadow still looms over this movie, threatening to derail DCEU’s redemption with the upcoming Justice League. The better things I hear about this movie, the more depressed I get knowing exactly what sort of incomprehensible bullshit waits…
“...and 45 minutes of nothing happening...”
Nah, it was great, easily the best episode so far this season. Moffat’s own episodes are why he will be missed (regardless of what anyone thinks about his show running skills). No one writes episodes like this. His boldness, his sense of execution, his big ideas. The season so far has been a nice change, sure, but it…
I very much disagree with this review. I honestly thought this was one of the stronger episodes of the season, setting up the main threat of the next two episodes. Every person to his or her own, but I will say yours is the first negative review I’ve seen.
The gist of this review seems to be that you have no patience, James. That you’ve enjoyed the one-off stories this season so far, but now that Moffat has given you an episode that sets up a longer arc, you didn’t enjoy it - so much so, that you’re back to looking forward to Moffat leaving the show.
WHY DID YOU SAAAAAAY THAT NAAAME!
“It’s OK that you let your father die in a slow-moving tornado, despite the fact you could have saved him with no effort on your part. I’m not lonely every single day of my life, working myself to the bone trying to maintain this farm all by myself until I die, while you are off fighting giant robots. It’s fine,…
DCEU seems to just be a slideshow of actors who’ve regretted signing multi-film contracts.
I was always partial to Leia’s Endor combat look:
The movie is listed on IMDB as having a date of 2007. An early cut was played at the 30th anniversary at Star Wars Celebration IV. So, apparently the guy has been working on this for a long time.
Actually, I thought most of Torchwood was utter garbage, other than the episode with the rural cannibals, and the Children of Earth series, which was fantastic. And yes, I complained about a lot of it, actually. It was infantile and lacked any sense of depth, class or charm for most of the show’s life.
I’m not even sure it matters who the next Doctor is anymore, because it could be the greatest actor (of any gender or colour) around and they’ll still be stuck with Chibnall as showrunner. The man who gave us this:
If this is not evidence of his weird morbid murderverse, in a “SUPERHERO” movie then I don’t know what this is.
