Not me out here trying to catch parasites now

Dating myself here, but wasted an entire weekend in my college dorm playing this with a couple guys from my floor. It was more fun than the reviews would suggest, but definitely a great example of wasting good IP on mediocre design.

Huh. Weird. I’ve played these games since the first one and I enjoyed it as an opener. I thought there were some cool set pieces and I enjoyed the little touches like the constantly babbling grunts. Different strokes, I suppose. Hope you enjoy the rest of it! 

Hot damn. It is so refreshing to hear “We’re on break. We care. We will be working on it. But we are on break.”

I hope that break is real, honored, and felt for all levels of the production team. I’m enjoying the game and will gladly wait on improvements delivered by a healthy team. 

You haven’t lived until you’ve ordered Portillo’s catering and then been told you have to “fluff the beef” by a stoic, middle aged woman. 

Such a cool move.

Also, plenty of deaf folks out there who are dyslexic like everybody else, so sign language would likely be of great benefit to those who experience both of those cognitive realities.

It’s almost like Seth Rogan realized millions of people would be watching them who did not have the benefit of knowing all of the precautions that were taken to convene the event. Almost like he realized “Hey, people are using any excuse to be reckless, so let’s not give them the appearance of one.”

2. The power of hearing all of the newscasters and pundits using racially coded language, but the documentary choosing NOT to make a point to indicate that or explain it was genius filmmaking. I hope more folks are learning that words like “thug” exegete themselves. 

Game let me change my character’s eyes into hearts and let me match my makeup to my dress. 10/10.

Also, it’s fun to play. 

I played for hours last night. The bots definitely tapered off and were definitely noticeably bots. We’re talking walking straight into walls. Struggling to mantle the same environmental element. Firing at nothing.
