I remember all the buzz being centered around U2 afterwards but nobody’s put it in a movie yet to mythologize it.

It’s the Radiohead/Napoleon mash up we’ve always wanted
Just call it the multi-verse of mitzvah
They could just have Bat Girl get a Bar Mitzvah at the end of the first movie so she can become Bat Woman in the 2nd movie.
I agree. There’s many ways to end that episode that are bleak without being THAT bleak. Sometimes I wonder why I watch this show and I really wondered why after this one.
I thought this movie was fantastic but it does come with a bunch of ticks all too common in today’s movies. I donuthinkni was the only one who was completely on board with the flick but also wondering when it would end. My son bailed out with about a half an hour left.
There’s different ways of setting up sequels and I am not sure the audience being angry at the end of it like mine was is a great thing.
This site is really slipping in that not one person mentioned Buffy’s “cookie dough” speech resolving the Spike/Angel dilemma on Buffy.
Well, the first five (four?) seasons. The last two seasons were pretty dire and somehow got more dire as it went along. But, man, that finale sucked.
Thanks for ruining my day :(
I feel like there’s ultimately a list of “Worst Season Finales” of all time and way below that, levels and levels down, is the finale of the 100.
I think the backlash was more from the producers constantly saying the sideways universe wasn’t purgatory and it turned out....it kinda was. Also, the whole walking into the white light was kind of dumb but I’m still bitter about it
I feel like the finale deserves a little bit more love than it gets as it perfectly captures a lot of themes and character beats the show’s been building both all season but the entirety of the show both contextually but metatextually. It’s not just Buffy passing her power onto others so she could be free of her…
It’s good to see the ole’ gang back after the whatever the hell it was that made up the last three seasons.
You say that now but we’re a few years away from a gritty reboot of it
Excitement level for a 10 episode series that starts up a year after it airs? High
It’s not about the zombies. It’s about the surrogate daughters we meet on the way
It’ll be six episodes consisting of flashbacks and only two episodes of plot
The show did a good job at showing how hopeless and their lives were so I felt sorry for them. I got suckered for a bit there, thinking that there’d actually be a nice town full of nice people in a zombie-esque show.
Also worth pondering? How Joel just wanders into a town that seemingly seems empty and rescues Ellie. Who stumbles out of a building on fire that nobody in the town seems to notice.
