He was probably pretty okay with it because he got paid well to hang out with celebrities and that show never looked like it was that hard to do. It’s not like he was doing Mare from Eastown
His non-profit environmental organization went bankrupt after Nakutomi swindled them in a real estate scam
Other film villains who’s backstories I feel should be made and made more sympathetic:
I....do not hate this? I mean, I know Amazon sucks and it’s not nearly as good for workers as a good wage or being treated like a human but having a cool down place to go at work isn’t a bad thing to have. Probably better than drinking heavily, breaking things, or shooting everyone with a semi-automatic rifle
If the show needs to be more like Twin Peaks, then I eagerly await the plot line in S2 where Mare loses her memory and spends half the season in Las Vegas trying to remember who she was.
Ultimately, what made Twin Peaks was all the mystical stuff and how great of a character Dale Cooper was. I don’t know how many people cared about most of the soap opera stuff or most of the side characters but everybody wanted things like the Log Lady or BOB.
Another way of putting it is that if you stick with it, the whole joke involving “a little bit Alexis” will be one of the funniest couple of minutes you’ll see
I think it’s the conversation about “wine”between David and Stevie. It’s a really smart conversation that starts adding dimensions to some of the characters.
It’s one of those sitcoms that fall into the category of good comfort food. It’s a pleasant watch, funny and smart but not too smart, The four lead characters are all Hall of Fame sitcom characters. Alexis (Annie Murphy) is sneakily the best.
I am looking forward to this show because I hear it’s a little bit Alexis
What about a gritty drama that explores the lives of the kids rescued from the factory?
Tina and Seth were head writers when they took the anchor role, as is Jost and Che. The last cast member given a WU chair was ... Cecily Strong!
I forgot about that. Never mind what I wrote (still think it’s a possibility she stays on due to the obvious enjoyment she still shows during the show)
I loved the opening skit. It was sweet and heart felt. One of the few times the show lets the cast members just be themselves and reflect upon the year. The show’s been so much better since Trump left because they could do this kind of thing to open the skit then having to react to whatever craziness happened over the…
I did not get that skit at all as I did not know the reference and the four women laughed through most of it. The entire skit was worth it, however, when they threw “Sweet Home Alabama” into it
I got the vibe that it’s the end of the season and they’re all a little goofy and just having fun. Almost every episode the show does before their break always has the same feel of being in school right before summer vacation
The fact that Aidy, Kate and Cecily were crying at the opening makes me think it’s their last season but the same thing happened last season (or maybe the season before that?) and I was wrong. For some strange reason, though, I can see Kate staying as she hasn’t been pursuing roles outside the show and seems to…
This episode also had Barkley vs Barney the dinosaur, an all time classic skit and
