Trump took apart huge chunks of the government. For instance, they actively tried to find ways to make people quit and so huge parts of the government are severely understaffed. You can’t fix the environment if there’s no people on the staff who can do it. If Biden just spends the next two years fixing everything

Morello playing D&D is an interesting idea in that I wonder is his characters are all lawful good and spend their time fighting injustice and discrimination against dragons and trolls or does his characters just go in there and kill everyone?

But that’s an awesome idea! Just look at how many rh shows now are about character’s “breaking bad.” People love that stuff. I think Lucas lives that idea. I just think that writing that kind of movie is not strength but creating cool-ass space ships is

The wedding seemed weird in that it did look likenJamie just crashed it. Nobody really acknowledged her other than Owen. I was also hoping her story would retriever memories with a suddenly American sounding Fiona but they didn’t go that way so I felt disappointed in that manner.

When he left the wedding party at the end of the episode, I really wanted him to say that he had to leave because he was “very busy”

I feel like they started with one idea for the story and then changed it halfway through. Like what was up with the creepy doll house and how Fiona knew where Dani was by watching it? Why did Flora seem to know about what was going on in the house? What about the creepy doll? It felt like she was special in some way

Still waiting for a live action/photo realistic Finding Nemo

Furries need representation too

Also released is the repackaged version of U2’s ALYCLB. Worth listening to for anyone who hates when a band’s unreleased b-sides are much better than the album tracks

They never got the memo that every long standing band has to do at least one dance oriented album produced by leading EMD artists

There is something to the idea that we all saw the original movies as kids and not as adults. When you’re older you have a much better understanding of what makes a good movie while you don’t as a kid. You also aren’t as easily wowed by things you see- I was pretty much hooked by just the first ten minutes of ANH

That’s what I mean- cut out a lot of the silliness and take the story to it’s basics. There’s so many interesting ideas to them but they got lost amidst the silliness. If you make the story leaner and get more into the characters, there’s a really good trilogy in there

The animation does not hold up well at all. One of the reasons why the Toy Story movies hold up is because the animation doesn’t look dated

The prequels took place in all sorts of cool planets and worlds while I the same worlds in the sequels basically consisted of deserts and jungles

The middle parts were fun but the beginning end the end were way too cutesy and cartoonish. I really dislike the scene at Jabba’s lair as Jaba is way too goofy to be menacing.

For a massive, super popular series of movies, it could easily be argued that there were only two great films, a few meh ones, and a bunch of shitty ones.

The sequels were wise. Say what you want, but they had a vision and a purpose. They tell a compelling story arc (albeit butchered) and greatly expand the universe. The sequels were a pointless corporate money grab. Can anyone explain what the point of them were from a story telling standpoint? In what way do they

Like all of the other prequels, if somebody gave you a big, overly broad synopsis of the plot, it would sound great. Even the whole trade policy part is interesting if described less like an actual trade issue and more like the dastardly attempt by Senator Palaptine to begin the process of overthrowing the republic.

My impression of the movies is that he probably spent more time designing all the cool ass space ships than the rest of the movie

In the movie, he uses it as an excuse to justify having an affair with Mia Farrow’s daughter
