All of those examples you mentioned are places.  Cherokee is not a place it’s a culture.  It would be analogous to Volkswagen naming one of their models the VW Jewish, or Chevy having a Chevy Kurd.

Not really though. Back in the 00’s rs was the “track trim” of Audi in Europe. There was only one RS model at any one time. For the US they took the track trim and added all the features back in... for the RS models they sold here. They realized that they couldn’t make money with track trims so they pretty much moved…

Get rid of the gas tax and change to better usage tax tied to registration. Raising the gas tax doesn’t help pay for infrastructure when more hybrid cars/electric cars come out that pay less/none for gas.
