Headline:

You can buy iPhone chargers (3rd party) for $6.29 online

So thats... um... two

The problem is, if you need a phone charger in a pinch, Amazon and Monoprice aren't really options. So you go to Best Buy, where a microUSB charger costs the same as an iPhone/iPod charger. So the price advantage (which absolutely does exist online) is lost when you're in a bind.

Seriously?

Best Buy has a 46" Sharp for $629.99 right now, so there's one option.

I'd guess you're right about a pound of beef. The problem is that you cannot quantify the amount of water it takes to make a pound of beef, because you cannot make a pound of beef. You can raise a cow, and slaughter it, and process it and end up with a pound of beef (among other things), but you can't simply take

Correction, Apple is a hardware company. They use marketing to sell their hardware, as does Microsoft, and every other company known to man.

This is not what the next iPhone will look like. As before, I am taking bets. I will ship my 30" ACD to anyone willing to put up something of similar value. Seriously.

Oh man, I can't even tell you how many english teachers I run into online. I was just typing to get my message out.

Why are we not given the quantity produced on most of the items listed here? 15,415 liters of water makes "beef"? How much beef? And how are they arriving at these numbers, anyway? For "apple", is that one apple? And if an apple tree grows naturally outdoors, why would we measure the amount of water (rain)

And... It has been ordered!

Jesus, this post 100% makes up for the bird man incident.

Nice work! I got mine (Transformer, no need for the keyboard) on Amazon a few months ago for $369, which was the lowest I found. You have won.

Pretty much all of Apple's releases have been solid for years. The old "wait for the second generation" thing is widely unnecessary at this point.

I total agree, but since this can't be used on your lap, you're going to end up using the on screen keyboard often. At least an Android or iPad keyboard cover allows "lap top" use, and has actual physical keys.

Or... the TF-101 is $399 and the keyboard is $149, so only $50 more than an iPad without a keyboard?

In terms of tablets, every consumer wants competition, better prices and options. But get real, nobody wants Android...

I know that the keyboard cover thing is really "neat", but I fail to see how it is a game changer of any kind.

I'm betting that, with a mouse or portable harddrive, AND the keyboard cover, the intel i5 won't get more than 1 hour of battery life.
