Frankly, while I’d prefer the V8 overall (duh) I’d rather have the 2.0T than the V6. More torque=feels more like a muscle car should.

Your “full size truck” is 4” wider than a Golf.

It’s all in how you look at it. As far as I’m concerned it isn’t a pickup with a useless bed, it’s a sedan with immense cargo capacity.

Think about it differently. You aren’t buying a truck, you’re buying a 4-door sedan. With a MASSIVE trunk. And 4wd. And offroad capabilities. And tow/haul capacity.

Maybe not, but it is. It’s about 6” wider than the old one, true, but the old one is actually quite small. Not S10 small, but still small. It surprises me every time I park it. even the new one is only 4” wider than a Golf.
