You can’t complain about The Strain, because it is exactly what it is meant to be - a stupid, horrible, dumb, piece of shit show. That’s what makes it so glorious - you spend the entire hour asking yourself “How is this on the air?”. It’s meta-entertainment by making you question everything you thought was true.

I totally agree. Somewhere between my first and second viewings of the S6 finale, I stopped giving a shit. Maybe it’s because the biggest question has been confirmed (R+L=J), but I think I’m over it. Yes, I will read the book, but it doesn’t hold nearly the same place in my consciousness as it did following reading…
