In other Ravis is the Best news, CW moving iZombie to Monday nights fucked everything up for me. I have to get up at the crack of dawn for 8 hrs of school tomorrow. If there is a screener (hopefully Carrie has a lot) I can post but might have to hit and run, if not, I’ll throw it up on Twitter before bed and post here

I’d probably give this episode like a C or a C- honestly. I’ve liked just about everything the show has done so far, but this whole Trent/murder storyline feels very overdramatic and “TV drama plot twist” in a way the show never has before. Definitely disappointed with this ending after a season I thought was overall

As a proud curly-haired woman, I opposed Mona for blowing out her hair.

Oh god, can we please not do the Nero from Star Trek thing where someone becomes a villain because they decide the person who tried and failed to save them from being hurt is more to blame than the person who actually hurt them? The show’s built up enough good will that I have hope it’s not actually going there, but

Remember when we thought they just had to get rid of the Speedsters and their problems would be fixed? Turns out its actually the underpinned writing for their villains that suck.

Sick burn, Phil Not Phil.

Did you come into a recap of a show, two and a half seasons in, which has built its success largely around the fact that it is a musical, to let people know that if it dropped this giant part of what makes it what it is you, specifically will start watching it?

I wasn’t really feelin’ the ‘cringe’ in this episode like some. What I was feeling was ANGRY at Darryl. Dude, you’re <> 60 years old. When your fantasy baby graduates from college you’ll be 85! Who do you think you are, Tony Randall?

Paula, of course, has her own issues to work with. She’s guilty of treating Rebecca’s life like a reality show or even a scripted show, and “shipping” her and Josh so badly (because it was what Rebecca wanted) that she forgot that true friends see things for what they are and are honest with each other. She could’ve

Yeah, for me the clue was that Naomi doesn’t care about her daughter being happy as much as she needs to see her survive and get armored up. She’s not a nurturer, and she wouldn’t view food as comfort. If she were worried about Rebecca not eating she’d be pushing protein bars and stuff on her. And in a way, the shakes

That’s actually a pretty good theory.

“The Darryl White Josh pairing looks different after the recent Kevin Spacey revelations.”

I think it might be a case of “Darryl, chill, we’ve been together for like a year.” (I think? California and it’s nonexistent seasons make me unsure about the timeline of the show). The fact that Josh is still around even though Darryl’s a little cray and clingy suggest that he really does love the guy and is willing

She did? I wonder if season 4 will involve a change of scenery. Rebecca in a psychiatric hospital, maybe?

Definitely here for Hector/Heather.and that sweet, sweet ass and breakfast burritos

Have you seen the title of the show? This is a series about a self-destructive depressive neurotic. As Bloom herself said, this was NEVER going to become ‘Mad About You’, a show about a happily married couple and their dog Murray.

They’re campy and over the top and ridiculous. Even The Dark Knight returns is that way. I don’t mean that they’re stupid or not worthwhile, I mean that they are a ludicrous (as in the “laughable” and “nonsensical” part of that word’s definition) concept. Given that I’ve worked as one of the A.V. Club’s comic book

Overall though, yes, Rebecca made a terrible decision. However, we can’t ignore that Greg’s father did much worse. 1. Rebecca was feeling very vulnerable and alone at that time and HE KNEW 2. HE HAD SEX WITH HIS SON’S EX-GIRLFRIEND I don’t see why nobody commented on that.

Rebecca sleeping with Greg’s dad gave me total “Escape from LA” vibes (but she actually went through with it ah!)
