Congrats!! That's beautiful!! Great choice!!

I'm getting a sapphire marquise ring set in silver (I can't stand gold and I dislike diamonds). Sapphire is a wonderful choice! All I told him was that I wanted something not gold and not diamond and it needed to be somewhat old-fashioned. The rest was up to him!

Published on the same day:

Can I have both? Answer: No, I'm marrying a grad student.

Ha. You published this in the same minute I got my daily (or is it weekly? I don't know, I don't pay attention) marketing email from VS.

Serious question: Is she for real? She says so much unbelievably ridiculous crap that I think she's actually real-life trolling us. She also doesn't look like the perfect housewife (though she obviously tries with the hair and the way she dresses)—you know, a Stepford-type wife. She seems like a middle-aged woman

That's probably because you don't need to buy more house if you add one adult and one child—both can share a room with their counterpart. Housing is probably the most expensive part. Health insurance—family plans don't usually increase by the number of children. Plus with two adults bringing in income (theoretically),

I just started gaming this past weekend. I mean, I've played video games before, but it was usually when I was babysitting and the kids wanted to play, like Lego Star Wars. I played through most of Portal and I began Skyrim on Sunday. I'm not that big of a fan of Portal (I didn't like its linear nature), but I loved

No no no you're not naming it right. It has to have an anagram. The bill would be called the new PATRIOT Act - the Politicians Allowed To Require Invasive Ovarian Testing Act.

Okay, thanks for the info! I'm glad it's as easy as calling them up and telling them I'm moving away.

Another question—I had a friend who was excused of serving jury duty because a friend of ours (and his former roommate) had been convicted of a felony (from when we were in college). He had been specifically asked if anybody close to him had ever been convicted of a felony. Is that something that's asked every time,

Here's a question—I'm moving out of the country within a year. I received my jury questionnaire a couple weeks ago (I got my new driver's license about a year ago). How do I make sure that I don't get called for jury duty when I move away? I don't want the notice to go to my old apartment, and then I'm held in

Be careful!! Shopruche and Modcloth dresses are frequently terrible quality and are not true to size. They look pretty on the website, but can be major disappointments! FYI—I ordered a very pretty dress that was too small and I ordered a size 10, when I'm actually a 4/6. Plus without even putting the dress on, the

I'm bookmarking this for when my bf and I have a quicky wedding at a courthouse in a couple months. Well, I've planned my dress, now he just has to propose (yes, he knows it's coming). Though he actually said to me, "Can we get married before I propose?"

Liberal arts colleges circulate literature that coach students on how to apply their degrees to job searches—no matter the liberal arts degree. Learning is learning and can be applied anywhere. And if the person is really concerned about finding a job, then they would actually go to school specifically with the

You guys Bob Costas looks like James Novak.

...really? I'm in my 20's, and I sure as heck knew what Hard Knock Life was before Jay Z. How have you grown up without at one point watching Annie, whether the movie or a school play?

I did it in four years, and made sure my internships were geared toward what I wanted to do after college, not my major. That's how I was able to get my first post-college job. If I'd stuck with my major as a career, I'd be in academia right now (which is what my professors were pushing for, but which I resisted).

College is more than job training. It's your chance to explore, make friends, and grow as a person. Unfortunately, college is also more expensive than it's ever been, so you have to balance your exploration with some hard-nosed practicality. Here are some things we wish we knew while we were still in college.

Of course it's about actors.
