The posters that I bought, I purchased from allposters.com. But then my university also had vendors on campus for the first week. I also used Amazon for decorations: flower decals for the windows, fake flowers and a vase for a table.

While yes, the ad is disgusting, perhaps there is a DC escort who would like to jump careers. And an escort would for sure know about the underbelly of the political process.

Al Gore says the same thing in An Inconvenient Truth.

I have lived near or traveled through many of these airports. So far, the worst is Frankfurt because I had a two hour layover, I didn’t once get lost, it was EMPTY, I ran the entire time, and I STILL almost missed my flight.

Meh. People have used odd things for beauty, soda not the least among them. Empress Sisi of Austria, for example, washed her hair with cognac and eggs. Some people wash their hair with vinegar and baking soda. If it works for her, then all the more power to her.

Did Barnard have to do this as well?

An hour is a long time and it's to cities that aren't as big of draws for college students or recent grads. Compare that to other women's colleges (Barnard in NYC, for example, or Wellesley, which has a train to Boston), and that's pretty close to the middle of nowhere. It's pretty important for many internship fields

Yeah Barnard party! Also agree with everything kitteneye said.

Landed gentry doesn't necessarily mean titled. Mr. Darcy is landed gentry, for example, and though he has noble family, he himself is a commoner.

It's a hereditary knighthood (like I said, very minor nobility).

I married someone from a lower class, but I didn't realize it until a few years after we were together.

I agree with everything that you're saying (I even read the entire chain), but, FYI (and FWIW), there are lots of free bathrooms in Central Park in NYC and they are unbelievably clean for being public restrooms in the middle of one of the most popular parks in the world. Better than many rest stations or beach

Christmas is only all-inclusive to those who are Christian or who used to be Christian. It does not feel all-inclusive to non-Christians.

If no one has eaten at Buddha Bodai and lives in NYC—try it! It's so good, even though it's vegetarian! They have these lettuce wrap things that I could eat a million of.

What about places where traditionally you'd put your religion on your resume, but might now be a culture that is moving away from that? Like Austria, for example. Traditionally, you're supposed to put your religion and your parents' professions on your resume. I still don't know what bearing it has on myself as an

Her poetry does indeed resemble Heine's! It's probably why she wasn't thought of as a very good poet ;)

Blegh I hate Dawnguard. It freaks me out to get bitten and I'm always afraid I wont' get to a shrine fast enough. My character also killed two vampires in Windhelm and the bodies have never disappeared. I kind of want to kick them into a ditch or something so I don't have too look at them every time I go to the market.

Yeah I haven't been able to find her poetry in English, and the only place I found her poetry was at the Hofburg. Though Hamann is a good account, the book actually was originally published in German, and yet I don't feel like much has been lost in translation. Sisi was never a good poet to begin with.

As I'm moving to Vienna officially in two weeks, I volunteer to be the Jezebel Europe/Official Sisi correspondent.

Sisi is now the accepted spelling. But yes you're right in that the spellings differ.
