Woah...slow your horses. This is the cover for the January 27, 2014 issue. Guess what was the cover for the previous issue—Janet Yellen, an old woman! And I commend Time on having a diverse cover group—it's not always white men!

You have really done your homework. I <3 you.

Yes! With two L's!

You guys, did you know that his daughter's name is Lilly? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN!?!

So of course I love Logan and all...but someone just told me he is a scientologist. And it's true. I'm now so, so conflicted. I wish they hadn't told me. Help me, Jezzies.

I appreciate your reply and your opinion, but your reply tells me that you don't fully grasp what privilege is (and that's okay, because for a long time I felt the same way and I didn't understand what privilege is, either). If you are white, you have privilege, even if you are poor and white, however little it is.

Why don't they keep them at the prison and let the inmates take care of them? I've heard other stories of prisons getting pets and it being very good therapy for the inmates by giving them responsibility for another life.

It could also be a prop that they placed on her head. There's nothing about the pigeon that says it was moving during the photo, so it could be a stuffed pigeon.

While I agree with you that she's very privileged, I would still call Lena's character middle-class, because wealth and privilege do not necessarily go hand-in-hand. Middle class white Americans are still very privileged.

Wagner is the highest-ranking American figure skater on the international stage. If you look up their actual results internationally, Wagner by far outpaces Nagasu. This season alone, Nagasu has only placed once in an international competition—third, at the Rostelecom Cup, while Wagner placed first at Bompard,

You know...if you ever wanted to do an interview with her (she's a stuntwoman, too!), I'm sure she'd be happy to!

Yeah, she was obviously sponsored by Honda!

I remember that movie! And she chops off all her hair and poses as a boy!

Don't worry. There's plenty over at Gawker already.

My mom doing Motocross back in the 80's.

I was not happy with this website when they were getting behind Pope Francis because I knew, deep down, that he wouldn't actually sway from tradition. Please stop calling him "cool." In many ways, he's getting back to the true calling of the papacy—servus servorum dei in the way of Gregory the Great—but his views are

Honestly, it's just so awesome that Greta Gerwig's made it this far and can now add this to her resume. I've been following her career since she first began (she went to Barnard, like me, so when she first started hitting the scene Barnard was ALL OVER IT) and I think she's had an amazing and steady rise. I hope to

I thought Mirai DIDN'T file an appeal.

Wait but what if one of the parents is poor (because of the divorce/loss of income/etc). Does the more affluent parent pay child support in that case, because the child wouldn't be able to have the same standard of living at the poorer parent's house?

Believe it or not, she's not fake. She just doesn't have a filter. My mother worked with her on Catching Fire, and what you see on television is the way she is all the time. Unless she's the world's greatest actress and never breaks character, then this is the way she actually is.
