Back when the WRX came to the states, the Camry was only making around 134-150, only the top trim engines made 190 hp. The mustang and camaro of the day were only making 193 for the V6 and 225 for the V8 mustangs, and camaro had a V6 around 200 hp and V8 around 310 hp.

Yep. Small was the only thing they promised and actually delivered.

Just to be that guy

Some high-end manufacturers may stick with real cow hide/ ostrich skin/ whale penis leather, but mass market vehicles will move to alternative products.

Have you seen the price of Jeeps on dealer lots, $70,000 is a freaking steal!

It’s already starting to happen, but the death of Massive Grilles. As electric cars are becoming more common, the open mouth bass look has started to die... thankfully! Sure it works for some cars, but the vast majority don’t need a giant angry gapping maw.

Ha, you’re good. It got me looking into it as well. I was originally thinking they were more like 40k when new, but was wrong there and had to look more into it.

You might need to check your math, I don’t think the S2000 would be sub 50k in today’s dollars. The 99' model was around 30k new, today that’s around 55k.

Did anyone else read that as “Large Poop Noise”?

The GNX is the very definition of all GO and no SHOW. I honestly hate the Grand National/GNX, it’s just such an eyesore from a terrible era of car design. Performance wise, it was great for it’s time, but could you imagine if they just made it a decent looking car, the thing would have rightfully been a legend,

I honestly have no idea how this works or how my dad found it out, but I live in an area that has very hard water and is pretty terrible about leaving water spots on the car after rinsing with the hose. Apparently if you fill up a watering can with water (even if the water comes straight from the hose into the can

I love big companies and their executive level decision making. We need to save money, lets get rid of the people that make our products... You know, you could probably take some pay cuts at the top, still be making way more money than you need, save face with the company and country, which might actually lead to more

Here’s a not so secret secret, insurance companies don’t want to cover anyone. That’s how they make money, by taking your money and giving you nothing in return, then when they do HAVE TO do something, they fight you for every penny hoping you give up. Then the next year they raise your rates because you dared to use

Totally agree. I really wanted one of these when they released the concept and talked about it being the best of both worlds, then it came out and was a failure at everything and good at nothing. People were/are even swapping out the hybrid system for a normal ICE and getting both better performance and MPGs. It’s

I might get some hate for this one, but ALL Luxury brands... at least the more common ones like BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Cadillac, Acura, Infinity and such. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a luxury brand that actually felt like it was worth the extra money over what is available from “more affordable” brands.

Put a Monster Under Your Hood is a pretty good slogan.

I’ve seen a few, but that’s it. I want to say I’ve seen a red, a white and I know I’ve seen a yellow one - I know for sure about the yellow, because it’s a horrible color in person. It’s like the palish yellow of dog vomit.

This 100%

Hey, I’ve got a secret for you
