Didn’t know this. I really would have thought it was the other way around.

I feel like it’s no different than any other mechanic job, except it probably pays better since it’s more niche.

I didn’t know there was an EF0 - that little dust devil looks like it would be a 0. And I hear you, I’ve been through several tornados in my life, EF3s mostly, but at least one EF4.

And that’s just a piddly little EF 1. Tornados are no joke, take them seriously.

I’ve been to one of those with a 4 year old that REALLY had to pee. The bathroom was a port-o-potty behind the building.

Came here to say the same. They are always crowded. Sure there huge, but it has to be to stuff all those people in there. You said it, it’s basically a small Walmart (even the same types of people), I really don’t get the hype.

Agreed. The Solstice was a very classic design that is basically timeless. The Sky is very much a product of it’s time and as that time moves further away, it’s only going to look more dated. I will admit it was one of the better designs of it’s time, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the Solstice.

It kinda reminds me of a concept for the next GTR

You really answered your own question with that photo. The Cybertruck is a flavor of the month oddity for wealthy. It will disappear once the newness wears off and the “trendy chasers” move on to something else.

V8 Challengers.

This. If I could afford one right now, I would buy it for that exact reason. I work from home and barely drive, if I’m still working from home in 20 years, I will probably have only put about 20k-30k miles on one, maybe even less. I was hoping used ones would be cheaper, but they are still just out of my price range,

The only car I’ve had with a cover, the cover popped off pretty easy. But it definitely seems like it’s a big “Keep Out” sign for anyone that is hesitant about doing any maintenance themselves.

Honestly, I would rather have the rat’s nest of the Maverick than the giant hunks of bland plastic they use to cover the rat’s nest that almost everything has now. At least it’s one less thing to take off so I can see what’s going on with the actually functional parts of the car.

Honestly, can’t think of anything the 70's Celica did better than the 69 Mustang. Maybe the price was better. I guess you could also say it rusted better, or more would probably be more accurate.

Public transit, and especially school buses, are were electrifying vehicles makes the most sense. It’s lots of stop and go - great for EVs, they sit for long periods of time waiting to be used again - great for charging, instant power/torque to get those huge vehicles up and moving - another point for EVs. Really,

What, no mention of Aretha Franklin’s cover of “Respect” which was originally written and sung by Otis Redding. I guess that makes sense, a cover that was so good most people don’t even know it’s a cover.

KIA shoot themselves in the foot not giving the K5 the same liftback as the Stinger. The K5 is a great looking car and has the right proportions for a liftback, but then they go and cut that tiny little standard trunk opening, So Stupid.

Yeah, the EV6 is nothing like the Stinger, it’s proportions are all off and it looks more like a crossover in person. The other big thing that ticks me off, they shoot themselves in the foot not giving the K5 the same liftback as the Stinger. The K5 is a great looking car and has the right proportions for a liftback,

Yep, my mom’s house with a 2 car garage built in 1975 fits two full sized SUVs and still has room for the washer and dryer and a work bench. I looked at new build houses in 2019 and not only where they so narrow that if you put two midsized sedans in them, you couldn’t open the doors enough to get out of the cars, but

Yeah, I haven’t liked the look of them since the bugeye - but even that wasn’t so much a good looking car as a quirky car. Now they all just sit in the middle of a bland/boring/ugly Venn diagram.
