Correct. Aren’t the lower trim V6 or whatever engine is the base now, generally the big seller... like usually by a large margin. People that are buying the base engine aren’t looking at performance, they are looking at styling and daily drivability... which are the two big complaints I hear the most about the Camaro.

They really should have made the trunk a hatch

Yeah, that’s kinds been GM’s M.O. for a pretty long time. They do what they want, but don’t actually listen to customers/potential customers and then wonder why things aren’t selling. Pontiac and Saturn are good examples that the recession put the final nail in for GM.

The WRX is a good answer. I’ve always liked their performance, but haven’t liked the look of them since probably the late 2000s. They meet all my needs/wants, just not a fan of the styling. And there’s no way I’m touching an older one out of fear of getting one someone has beat the hell out of.

I’ll just go ahead and say, “Everything that is way out of my budget, or even slightly out of my budget.”

The topic is, “IMPROVED the most” this submission is not an improvement.

I do love how all these Nissan Sentra images are credited to Hyundai

I’ve seen a few of them; white, black, blue and that gorgeous red. It is a great looking car that doesn’t get the love it deserves. If I had the money for something like this, it would be the top of my list.

Ha, I grew up riding in one of those. My mom had a blue one with blue interior.

I have no idea what that is, but I want one! It makes me think lifted/off-road Celica Supra

Also the AMC Eagle beat it by about two decades.

The 3000GT

I agree, I mean everything about this car is nice/good looking and it’s dark in color that works really well, then you see that wood and it’s just all wrong.

It’s the same reason all stores offer huge sales on merchandise they only have a limited number of, To Get You In The Door, So They Can Sell You Other Stuff!

Yep, why build an affordable work truck for so many people that don’t use a truck for work (or really anything you would actually need a truck for) and are willing to pay out the ass to get a bunch of options that are more about comfort than utility. The truck posers have pushed the market in the wrong direction and

I feel like late 90's through late 2000's was probably the best balance of easy to repair, good features, durability/reliability. Cars now are safer and more powerful, but they are getting crazy over complicated to where working on stuff yourself is less doable for your average person. I would say the are increasing

A/C is still somewhat true... but it depends on certain conditions, like your speed and if your windows are down, again, at a certain speeds even older cars get better MPGs with windows up and A/C on vs. no A/C and windows down. It also depends on the outside temperature, but overall it’s not as big of a difference as

If our laws were enforced in the name of safety, things would look a lot different on our roads... sadly, they are mostly about revenue.

A lot of that comes down to the laws and the enforcement. Even in places where there are laws against staying in the left lane and passing on the right, they are rarely enforced. There are also minimum speed requirements for the interstate that never get enforced. A lot of the bad driving habits of the US would be at

Honestly, I think trucks are the absolute best answer for this. I mean, people love their trucks and they are in general very boring vehicles... especially when you consider the amount of people that use trucks primarily as their commuter car.
