Yeah, that’s a typical response from truck guys. It’s sad so many people think they need a truck to pick the occasional piece of lumber from the hardware store once or twice a year. Anything smaller than a 4x8 piece of plywood will fit in my Veloster Turbo. It’s like people don’t understand you can put the seats down.

33k for a decent RV is nothing, even if it’s someone else’s project. Heck, my mom just spent 35k on a new RV that smaller than this and it was full of problems. The thing has spent more time in the shop than on the road.

Very true, they had TVR on there quite often.

Probably not, as they are pretty rare in the U.S. I only started to learn about them from Gran Turismo games back in the day, then did my own research and grew to love those cars.

Yeah, if I was a car company, I would do my best to stay away from GM. They are all about shared cars. They will slap a badge for every brand on each car and call it a day. Then when things get rough, those lower companies/brands will get the axe. It’s how they’ve done business for decades.

TVR

That’s a good one. It should be an all new platform to get the weight down. It’s not terrible looking, but it’s also not great. It’s closer to a mid-cycle refresh than it is to a new model. They should have called it the 370z+, because all it is an improved 370z. Reskinned is a great word for it.

EVERY FREAKING CUV

Stancing - as in the super low, scrapping the ground cars with the stupid looking over cambered set up.

Yep, that guy’s a moron, I doubt they ever owned a Z. My guess is he’s trying to brag about cars he never actually had while cutting down the new car he won’t be able to afford.

Anything that doesn’t require using a knife and fork and/or a spoon. Soup is the worst.

Laughing at the idiot that said they want an EV.

I like them trying to do something different with the digital instruments, but that is a huge waste of space with the large image of your car on a road taking up half+ the total area, right dead center. Maybe with the steering wheel in front of it, it won’t be that bad, since the steering wheel blocks a lot anyway,

It’s a fun enough car at 200hp, but it could really use more. 25-50 more horsepower is probably all it would take, but man it needs it, cause merging at interstate speeds and heavy traffic with a short on-ramp is a nightmare in a BRZ/GT-86.

The CR-Z is a great answer to this question, and you summoned it up with this:

I commute around 100 miles round trip, through some nasty stop-n-go. I was all for the Focus ST as my next car at the time I was looking for one, but with it only being manual, I sadly scratched it off my list. I wonder how hard it would be to swap out the manual for the European auto here in the states?

While that would be super nice, there are few big problems that keep it from going mainstream:

I think that punk teenager or even college kid, with no taste, a monster tattoo and flat billed slightly askew hat, with a bunch of Daddy’s money is the only possible buyer for this.

Yeah, I’m not sure what stock prowlers go for these days, but not many people wanted them to begin with, so I don’t see a whole lot of demand for one to justify the $35,000. That price alone seems high, then throw in all the tacky/trashy/tasteless mods and it just gets even worse.
