Tiny trunk lids when they very easily could have made it a hatch. I’m looking at the Kia Stinger and going, “See, that’s how you do it. Why can’t everyone make the back a hatch instead of a trunk with an opening so small you can’t get anything through.” I learned this after having a kid and realizing my trunk was big

I start planning for when I’m going to get gas around 1/4 tank. That being sad, I hardly drive anymore and have a gas station less than a mile from me, so I get closer to empty before filling up than I use to.

My 2000 Mustang had 230,000 when I finally got ride of it, 208,000 of those miles were all mine.

Bolt-on Fender Flares - I know they’re silly, but I’ve always liked them. Especially on Japanese sports cars.

I have an aunt that was a big car nut when she was younger. She was also married to a race car driver at the time. She went through a lot of really cool cars over the decades. Olds 442, Judge, Cuda, RX7, 240z, 69 Mach 1 and the list goes on. Now she drives a Juke Turbo.

My Dad’s 72 Firebird - all original and 1 family owned.

RT, GT, RX, XR, GTR, GRX, XR-GT... and so on, basically most combinations of R, T, G, and X

A GT - it’s a pretty broad segment, and I would always be able to say, “Sorry, I can’t do the carpool, unless you want to try and squeeze into my GT’s nearly nonexistent back seats.”

As much as I hate to admit it, the FF Eclipse is 100% accurate for me as well. I didn’t care about Asian imports at the time, I only liked big block V8 muscle cars. Probably, because my only exposure to the asian import car scene were the kids in their parent’s hand-me-down civics that they slapped some cheap autozone

In defense of the PT Cruiser - that car was a hit when it came out, it only became a joke after the first year or two of sales and you started to see them everywhere.

The Aztek concept was SO OFFENSIVE to the eyes that there was a collective gasp when it was unveiled to the press/media at the time. That thing was incredibly and undeniably ugly... I mean beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all, but the majority of people that first saw the vehicle thought it was hideous. Even

The FT1 or whatever it was called, concept worked. The changes they made for the Supra didn’t/don’t work. But that’s modern day Toyota for you, they love to beat things with the ugly stick... I’m honestly surprised that stick has broken yet, since they use it so damn much.

Reruns of Top Gear with Clarkson, May, and Hammond. Nothing else has come close to replacing them for me.

280zx more like it. The 280z was still good looking, once they put the x on, it got pretty ugly.

Throw very tinted windows in that comment, and I will agree with you 100%.

Seatbelts and Helmet laws - I personally don’t think they should be enforced/required, as it’s only directly effecting the person wearing it and they are accepting that risking by not using it.

As long as they’re doing it in a cool way, I’m all for it.

Yes, I was born in the early 80's and my sister was 89'. We are very different and there is a distinctive line between those born 88-89 and after and those born earlier. There needs to be a separate generation between Gen X and late 80s.  Some big life changing technology shifts became widespread in the late 80s/early

It varies by state. Where I live, if there’s a crosswalk, it’s the law that you are supposed to stop if someone is on the side of the road waiting to cross. Like said in the posts, I have seen cops sitting there to catch people.

Why is the title “Black Woman...” does it matter that she was black, because I kinda don’t think that anything to do with the arrest.
