Yep. Those people are the worst. And they will usually ride your bumper for a while too before they pass.

I’d be fine with that. Just so long as there’s less people driving with no lights, I’m good.

The one feature I’ve wanted mandated on new cars is auto headlights. I see so many people driving around with only the DRLs on and no taillights, that shouldn’t be allowed to happen. Same with the idiots that don’t turn on any lights while driving in the rain.

People that don’t keep a steady speed on the interstate.

What you said. I don’t buy this was done to reduce glare. It was done for rigidity and to save money with less thick sheets of metal, the reduced glare was a bonus side effect.

Yep, underlighting. Don’t know what it is about it, but I have always liked it.

Looks like someone tried to turn their FR-S into a C7 Corvette with a body kit. I mean, this isn’t terrible, but it’s not great either.

The 90's Mitsubishi/Dodge/Eagle days were pretty good. Even if I would prefer the Mitsubishi version, it was nice to have more of their cars state side. Case in point:

Very much with you on the “borrowed” feeling. Between the Mazda-ish grill and the British Racing Green with a very Aston Martin looking badge on the hood, I think I would feel a little dirty or cheap driving this car, especially in a wealthy area. It’d be like I’m rocking a Fake Rolex and a Wal-mart suit while in the

Yeah, I don’t know that I would ever own a lifted vehicle, like with you, they aren’t something I’m into, but that prices seems really nice.

Wow! I’m not big on SUVs or CUVs, but I would buy this in a heartbeat... well, that is if it had a more normal interior. The outside is perfect as is, the inside is very much form over function. There is no way that would be a comfortable environment for any more than a 10 minute ride.

I think if someone truly is a car person, this is the only correct answer.

My problem isn’t just that my dream car is unattainable for me, but that I have dozens of dream cars, most of which I could never afford

Don’t worry, by the time any of this happens will be forced to only use self-driving vehicles that aren’t owned by individuals, but large companies. So hey, it won’t even really matter at that point.

So true. There should be harsher punishments for that crap.

I am more concerned with vehicle safety checks than I am with the people driving. Like they say, “you can’t fix stupid” and those people will always, somehow, still get their license even with tougher testing... but I would love it if I knew their brakes and tires had to be checked yearly.

Reminder: Doesn’t matter how old your car is, your smartphone has tracking you covered.

Kia Soul - I love the super narrow grill up top, with the aggressive lower section. It’s actually nice enough that I kinda want a Soul.

Yes, the homebuilt rules vary quite a bit by state. I know many of the ones I’ve seen have to do with the year the car was built. So lots of people will cut the vin numbers off some random old junker and weld them to their project, just so they can skip a lot of the requirements.

We wont see any significant reduction in cars on the road until the country figures out a good Mass/Public transportation system from suburbs to the work centers. I’ve checked on my local bus lines, the only option where I live, and it would take me over 4 hours to get to work, 1 way, over a distance of 21 miles. An
