GM is going to figure out a way to screw this up. I guarantee it.

More like Braaaptor!
Mine’s an LT with the comfort package. If you can get past the goddawful interior and shitty visibility it is an engaging and fun drive.
I drove mine through 3 Vermont winters to my house which is halfway up a mountain on a dirt road. Only got bogged down once or twice when the snow was 8" deep or more. Snow tires FTW
The Volt has better mileage and is faster / handles better. Everything else about it terrible. The visibility sucks. The interior is garbage. It’s a hateful place to spend your time commuting vs. the Cmax. I leased a Cmax for three years and am now driving an 18' Volt. The Cmax is the better car for daily use.
I leased one of these back in 2015. Awesome commuter if you are looking for something comfy, quiet, feature packed, and kinda fun to drive. Never had an issue with it and I was able to charge it at home and at work. Made it over 3000 miles on a single tank of gas one summer. These are built very much in the “European…
Yeah but then you can’t flex at the mall when you stop at Applebees to pick up an order of Chicken Tenders for Deb.
“Unencumbered, 0 to 60 mph is supposed to be able to happen in under six seconds, which is fine.”
For sure the drivetrain is better. Its just that the interior is such hot garbage. I came from a 2015 C-max Energi plug in and it felt like an S-class in comparison.
First Gen Volt was awesome. Then it came time for the second gen and they decontented the crap out of it and stopped marketing it completely. Pretty much the standard for GM. Come out with a good idea, then completely fuck it up shortly after.
Has anyone swapped in an SBC on a disco yet? Seems like that would be a match made in heaven.
They’re bringing in the Bronco to handle the off-road crowd. No need to have the Explorer compete in that segment.
Dang dude. This is the comment of the century for me. I like the GLB too
I agree 100%. What a logical point
Same here man. I had the same car in Silver back in 2004 and I loved it dearly. I spent $8,000 on it and it had the same amount of miles. This thing would have to have 30k miles on it and be absolutely perfect to fetch this kind of price today. At $4,000 it’s a much better buy and you could throw the turbo engine in…
Great car but waay too overpriced. I spent that much on my 97 with less mileage on it back in 2004.
Good choice Patrick. Cut Copy is so good.
Get yourself a roof rack and put a cargo box on top. Jimny problem solved.
Glucker you’re on Jalopnik now? Cool!
Reluctant CP for me. I like the I3, it is surprisingly fast and fun to drive and the range doesn’t scare me off. This one seems to be prices a bit too high for the mileage. I was looking at used REX models a few months ago and you could get a 2016 with all the improvements for about the same price.
