I NEVER did get the appeal of the ex police crown vics. I guess it fulfills some power/authority fantasy because the car largely SUCKS.

Oh my god, this whole thing is so stupid. It’s not like they have to plow some ancient burial ground or knock over a cathedral. They just need to remove the span of the bridge for a few hours. Which they’ve already done. Which will be paid for generously.
90's and newer Volvo. hands down...
The Fiesta ST had a torsion bar rear and it’s easily the most fun car I’ve ever driven, so I think it can be done with the right know how.
Maybe, but depending on how you’ve already spec’d it, another $2K is pushing tantalizing close to Golf R territory, which is a car that you can still get with a stick and which addresses a lot of the faults the reviewer pointed out.
2018 called; it wants its edgy use of an ANH quote in a tiresome forever war over the objective suckitude of TLJ back.
Fun, I hope so, the videos of the Rivian actually look like a pretty capable truck. And the Bronco Sport, although it looks pretty cool, does seem a bit fragile, (which IMHO, is a problem with offroading almost any modern vehicle... too much plastic.)
The passage of time alone guarantees that the new Scout will be way better than the original in every single way.
Why are you assuming it will be nothing more than a cute-ute window dressing? Why can’t it be a Wrangler EV/Bronco EV/Gladiator/Rivian (or ICE versions) competitor? Have you see the press, wait times and marketing for these three? I would not sell the Scout short yet. For now, I have faith they will be legitimate…
The Gambler 500 in a Smart that had just a two-inch tire lift. Made it down then back up this staircase without a scrape!
I’m a current C-Max owner and I’m in exactly the predicament as this article is describing. I bought the regular C-Max back in 2014, not the Energi model because I wanted a flat load floor in the back. I live in the city and having a small vehicle that can get into parking garages but still carry a lot of stuff is…
That’s why I picked up a C-max Energi. Same drivetrain, hatchback versatility. Wish they never got rid of the C-max. I adored that car.
Love my C-Max; when the weather is good it gets 41 mpg (loses a few with heater/AC, but hard to say how much).
I mean... it certainly takes a level of stupid to believe in any of that stuff, but in my experience, most of the time they’re reasonable, friendly people who haven’t heard a decent counterargument against any of it. They usually have legitimate grievances, but they’re kind of like cave men trying to understand…
I’m a Star Wars heretic…. I love the IP, but most of the movies are garbage. I’d say that Solo, while not breaking any new ground, is better than any of the prequels, any of the sequels (Ep. 7-9), better than Return if the Jedi. I’d only put it behind New Hope, ESB, and Rogue One. I’m still not saying it’s a great…
This is because GM is headquartered in the midwest, where this is the kind of lowest common denominator garbage is lapped up, and people buy American cars for some reason.
Blame Jeff Bezos and his rocket that looks like a giant...
I’d be interested to hear if anyone has actually used it with success.
No, the people with surfboards are parking there to go surfing across the street at Malibu Point when the Lagoon parking lot is full. The car enthusiasts generally are eating coffee/breakfast at Bill’s or one of the other restaurants there.
Well, you see, the owners held their thumbs over the license plates while taking pictures, so they are 100% untraceable.
