Can I just say how amazing Season 1 was? In my estimation it was one of the most ambitious and well-executed shows ever seen on TV. To so thoroughly and successfully intertwine the superhero genre with such a personal, harrowing and important narrative made it not only entertaining but profound and moving.
You haven’t heard much because it ain’t out yet. I saw a few preview pages in the back of another DC book, and it seems interesting, at the least.

As someone with multiple older family members living there, it also has the Vault Tech feeling around each “Village” with their strange themed neighborhoods.
Actually, I do trust both - did you ever read Fred Saberhagen’s revisionist Dracula novels, or hear the limited-run Pacifica Radio series, Prince & Warlord: Tales of Vlad Tepes Drakul? Both presented Dracula, the 500-year old vampire version of the historical Vlad Tepes, as a vampire detective-hero/crimefighter.
What about Bard? He took care of Smaug easily enough?
