What’s crazy is that they say oh we have to do this to be able to maintain the area. Well based off of the reservation and fees they can make almost 8,000 every weekend. Considering that every weekend slot is pretty much booked until July, I don’t think they are hurting for money at all.

No I think somehow he found out what was going on with the faculty skimming money and thought I want in on this too. If I remember correctly he did worked for the university for a bit and could have easily found out about it that way.

I really liked the Mock Trial Scholarship that he made up. If you are going to do that at least pick something that sounds like it would have enough money to cover the “scholarship”

Nah you can’t blame your state legislature for that. Having the Women’s Studies program cut is all on your university. Way too many colleges/universities wanted their cake and eat it too. They just assumed that states would continue handing over money, while they could get away with raising tuition at rates 3 or 4…

Xavier is one of those schools that goes against the norms. Its a tiny, tiny school that sees consistent success in basketball, but doesn’t pay like it does. Not sure why because they sell out a lot of games at a 10,000 seat arena and run a very profitable program

It’s actually sad how bad his dad has messed up with his career path. If someone would have been honest with him he could have easily played four years at UCLA, enjoyed the college life, graduate, and if he wanted to work at a sports agency in LA. Would he most likely gotten the job because of his name? Yes but screw…

I think one of the reasons Blizzard is talking so tough is that they know the players have all the power. Like you said OWL is comprised of all the top players and if they left the league will falter. The players would make less money but they would just go back to what they were doing a year ago
