Well the problem with the OP and the default rule, which as a guy I don’t mind for the first few dates, is that it easily sends the message that “I’m more important than you and you should have to pay for my time” If I get that feeling I either drop them as a friend/stop dating them or I put them in social timeout

That’s actually a tradition? Why wouldn’t you just get a smaller version of the original cake made?

So I live in Austin and would like to know where all this public support is that you are talking about? Many but not all in the city gov’t have thrown their support in but I have yet to hear of any residents speak enthusiastically about it. Go look at their social media numbers. Austin has almost a million people and

If you think that is true, you’re going to be in for a hell of surprise. Look up some articles on targeted marketing, AI marketing and just how much data FB and Google actually acquires.

Because at the time and with what little details they had, it made more sense than what currently is going on. Also all the police said was that they were looking into the possibility that the victim might have been the bomb maker. Not once did they say the victim was actually the one who made the bomb.

Hey any little bit of info helps. Just because the person can make bombs doesn’t mean they won’t do something stupid or inadvertently give something away

No the city has been taking this pretty seriously since the 2nd and 3rd bombs went off last Monday morning. SXSW was going on for the last two weeks. Everyone in Austin, myself included, has been taking this seriously

The first bomb didn’t go off until he brought it into the kitchen and tried to open it up. So that’s why they thought he and maybe his wife, who was also injured, were trying to make a bomb. At the time, it did seem more plausible than what is currently going on

Is there any proof of this? I’ve lived in both Houston (no bag ban) and Austin (bag ban) and the prices at HEB in both cities are nearly the same.

The ownership came in just expecting the city to hand over prime downtown park land. So even if people in Austin wanted the team, there still would have been serious resistance to just handing over park land.

Oh it will. I live in Austin and other than politicians there is very little in outspoken support for the team. They thought the city was just going to turn over prime downtown park land for them and that got quickly shut down. There were more people opposed to giving them park land than actual supporters.

Oh yeah completely agree. It just annoys me that people keep falling back on oh well he had training like it means he is magically qualified to handle every single situation.

Got to say that I agree with most of the points you made. People like Bull Moose have the benefit of getting to form their opinions with most of the info available with actual expert weighing in. I keep seeing people say he was a coward because he had the training and didn’t follow SOP, but my question is what

I’m a huge LeBron fan and I’m always surprised when people bring up the Decision in the LeBron vs Jordan debate. Like all you’re doing is giving me an opening to bring up the fact that Jordan retired twice in the prime of his career, with the first one possibly stemming from his gambling addiction. I agree that the

Not only that but since Pitt hasn’t hired a coach yet the players risk missing out on some prime recruiting time and getting stuck with a coach/system that doesn’t fit them

Cconsidering that they didn’t list anything, they’re full of shit and don’t know what they’re talking about

Nah this is going to be Offset’s fourth kid by four different women, two of which were pregnant at the same time. I love Cardi B but I don’t see this relationship working out for them

Nah it really doesn’t to all industries. My job I’m currently at required 4 interviews. A phone interview, a skills interview, a panel interview and finally a interview with the section and division heads. In the tech world, that is pretty normal. Although it does vary depending on what job you’re applying for ie if

Im betting that it has a lot to do with money. Insurance premiums are high, supplies and equipment are costly and the staff is expensive. Of the 3 you really only have control of one of them. So unless your practice is extremely successful or lucky, you skimp on the staff to afford the other two.

One eyewitnesses are horrible at providing accurate facts.
