Not everyone was benefitting equally, so... get rid of it for everyone? What about do more to make sure those that still weren’t able to benefit got a chance to do so?

There’s two kinds of people: those who have ‘latest’ bookmarked and only use that, and people who literally don’t know that latest exists. I can’t imagine anyone using the current main page deliberately.

It’s a bit anti-competitive. The times increasing are what push competitors to clean up their runs and try new strategies. Might have damaged the meta by withholding info - speedrunning tends to be a very open and collaborative community. I understand why people felt kind of betrayed.
