Yeah! We still have an operational dark room, although only black and white, they phased out color about 10 years ago.
I got the car in January, so 2 months yesterday. I’ve only put about 2000 miles on it though. Any car sold from a dealer should have the fix done. I think they order them from VW and do the fix at the dealership, makes sense compared to fixing all of them at once.
I probably could. I think there's also a firmware update I could get for it. Although it's easy enough to get to, if I go back there I'm just as likely to install a camera.
Yes! Although it needs an adapter which is available online. I don't have a camera installed so I just get a black screen when I go in reverse, but I'm thinking of adding one since it's compatible.
From what I understand they should work in anything from 2009-2016, Golf family and Jetta. Of course if it’s the base non screen radio it won’t have steering wheel controls, but should still work.
For anroid auto yes, but when not in “App” mode the radio and media inputs, as well as settings are all in English.
Nope, I was able to select English as the language on set up and haven’t seen a Chinese character since. I think enough people use English worldwide that it’s built into a lot of these kinda systems.
That’s the plan, I just have a hard time justifying the cost right now. I only play music on road trips, around town it’s just NPR, which plays in stereo and sounds fine. Although I did drive a 2019 Jetta as a loaner with AirPlay and it was great.
I’m loving mine as well. They really seem to be a good value right now. They’re nice, but not too nice. All the quality is there without much flash and I really appreciate that. I think it has to do with not being a real Jetta, but a Golf in Jetta’s clothing.
The air and the noise were a large reason I got rid of my Cummins. I had to shut it off at drive thrus to be heard. It wasn't the kinda truck I was ever supposed to have. I got it through my grandfather's estate and thought it would be nicer than my Ranger and get better millage. It was both of those things, but it…
Normally around 200 or 300. I really don’t post much anymore though. My max was some hot headed thing I wrote about NASCAR in high school that got shared to front page and got 56k.
I would imagine if you stay on interstates, and places commercial trucks frequent finding diesel would be easier to come by than premium.
I wouldn’t put 87 in a diesel.
Yeah I think I did good, paid $120 for the set.
Main reason only one of my bikes will work with the ones I have is that one is a folding bike and the other is a 75lb vintage ebike. My old road bike goes on just fine.
It was one of the features that made me drive 2 counties over to get this one! That and saving $1000 and 20,000 miles less
This might be because my last vehicle was a 2000 Cummins but the Jetta doesn't feel slow.
There is a cover!
