Audrey Plaza as every member of the 87th Precinct, as well as the Deaf Man.

His entire performance in Mask of the Phantasm. I had it on VHS when I was a kid and probably wore out the tape from watching it so much. The code-switching he does in that movie between Bruce and Batman is amazing - betrays the full spectrum of emotions he goes through.

Ummmm, what? “better than his Superman”? “no depiction of Superman has been good”?

Neither of those observations make any sense. Cavill’s Supes has been one of the better things that DC has cast, and honestly starting with Chris Reeve in the first big screen incarnation, there have been plenty of good versions.

I think

The strongest trailer yet. Epic scope, good aesthetics; I’m in.

And honestly, it looks really good. It’s kinda amazing how simple rolls of tape are able to make such complex designs.

In film:

I disagree.

I was going to say something mean about Chris Pratt online but Mark Ruffalo and RDJ scolded me.

I’m not a big fan or anything, but the fact that he is headlining the current #1 movie in the world (which just beat a Pixar movie featuring everyone’s first or second favorite Chris) is pretty indicative that this opinion isn’t shared by a majority of the world.

I may not agree with some of his decisions in real life, but I do enjoy Chris Pratt movies. And obviously many others feel the same way, since he’s still landing roles.

Count me in with the director who missed the point. Read through the article and can’t find a single articulated reason other than “he attends a homophobic church” which, like, okay? Maybe he’s like most (99.999999999%) christians and isn’t completely involved with their church’s events day to day, or knowledgeable

Ask 100 random people who this man is and 99 will probably say Chris Evans.

Exactly, the voice used in the games would be torture to listen to for an entire feature length movie.

Has Pratt actually done anything… bad? Like I feel like Elliot Page just went off on the guy for going to church and a whole bunch of people said ok screw this guy because Elliot said so

Charles Martinet was right there

That comic book arc you describe is exactly what I wish Episode 3 had been. Anakin getting ground down by the war. Haunted by losing so many people under his command. Forced to make shitty decisions that send him into doubt and damage his sense of morality until only preserving the order of the Republic is important

Transhumanism has shockingly little to do with anything about being transgender.

Transhumanism is a very different concept than transgenderism, you are stretching this too far. A transhumanist doesn’t believe in gender or sex, because those are inherently human characteristics. Moreover, a transhumanist is not tied to their body and would not normally seek modifications that aim to make them

I think it’s a movie for children so...
