Simply pulling that lever a few millimeters rearward engages the electric latch, popping the door open.

Hem. The Golf Country can still be called a Golf, because it literally is one. It’s just riding on a higher suspension and 4x4 + a bull bar and external spare wheel. And that Corolla is a wagon.

That’s actually not that far off from the original 1965. I had to work pretty hard to get my 200 ci. 6 cyl. to 80 mph. - With a decent motor, it might not have been half bad. Blame this one on the 70s, not Ford - It’s better than that guy’s collar.

Like it or not, it was the actual Mustang for the late 70's. It’s still a sporty-looking two-door coupe, as all Mustangs have been. It’s not a completely different type of vehicle. That it was slow and anemic is not necessarily the point of the current angst with respect to the Mach-E. As others have pointed out,

Exactly. That’s why every Jalop and enthusiast needs to run out and buy one. Trash dealer experience be damned.

That’s Toyota’s method too. Just look at how long they’ve been using the same v6 across tons of models and across all new generations of for example the Camry.

They will only be underutilized because I will send my gleaming alloy air car out ahead of me to clear the roads of little red barchettas so I get the road to myself. -Fancy Kristen probably.

Yup after 20 recalls on each vehicle over 10+ years its pretty reliable now..

I did not watch, please send me your username and password for Disney+(tm) so I can see the episode and perhaps agree with you.

FWIW, the trunk on the NC (3rd generation Miata) in the top picture is actually quite useful and the top doesn’t intrude into it when it’s down.  While I love the hauling capabilities of a hatchback, I can say with a straight face that that generation of Miata is perfectly practical for daily use.

Answer: force fields.

Do you say “now witness the firepower of this fully battered and operational waffle maker” each time you use it?

Why would it need a roof? Doesn’t it have McLaren’s Active Air Management?

Totally irrelevant to the specific topic, but while looking for any images of a land speeder with a roof, I found this. Now I want it.

Is he on staff here?

He's full of both refreshingly good takes and horrifyingly bad takes, depending on the situation and mood.

According to my 4 year old, if it doesn't have a tire on the back, I can't buy it.
