Satellite, crashed in my yard

I foresee some hilarious fail-safe situation where a car refuses to move because there are livestock/deer/buzzards/whathaveyou standing “too close” to the road. Also the first A/V vs horse and buggy accident is gonna be a media shitstorm.

I also thought “it should be hiking boots instead of heels” but then realized that this thing will have no off-road ability. The added height is only there to make moms feel big and powerful. So... heels.

I like that term because of the unnecessarily raised height and because how it rolls off the tongue.

Andrew’s not wrong, nor is Patrick.

Dear good Sir,

I was thinking “What will Torch recommend?” Was not disappointed.

“Using loopholes? Pushing the spec boundaries? Cheating, even? Hold my beer.”

The Ariya concept is 181 inches long, about 76 inches wide and 64 inches tall

And let’s mention that the Big3 auto supports increased safety standards because they make for heavier, more expensive (profit!), cost more to maintain, and can be totaled much more easily by the insurance companies (= more sales!).

The Clraoty comes in three flavors: fuel cell, fully electric, and plug-in hybrid.

I don’t want my manual station wagon to be brown, so your entire statement is invalidated...

Here is the quote they’re refering to from the president.

Unfortunately, there’s simply not enough people like you. If there were we’d be getting a 2020 Fiesta here in the US.

I think what the OP was getting at—although they made more of a blanket statement and didn’t include this clarification—is that EVs are challenging to own for people who have to park on the street, without their own designated parking space.

Your vehicular preferences (like mine) are an outlier and automakers are right not to consider us in their product planning decisions.

I had an ‘81 Celica GT as my first car and all my friends had malaise era or newer american boats like this one. It was ridiculous how much better the Celica was.

I drove an ‘82 Celica for several years, recently. I have an American History degree. I’ve worked at several scholarly editions, actively preserving history.

Good points.  Well, cheapest would be to just install a spike strip, instant 2" extra height vs. all vehicles!
