Honda’s “Cog”, hands down. It won several awards and is just an all around great video.

These were everywhere.  Then they all got wrecked or rusted.  I literally see supercars more often than I see a Gen 1 Neon.

This is the only correct answer.

The minivan. Dodge Grand Caravan and Plymouth Voyager. The rise of Honda Odyssey and Toyota Previa & Sienna. The fading GM options.

I really wanted to say it was the Viper, but I challenged my assumptions. After giving it some thought, I’m pretty sure the answer is the Ford Explorer. It was the first widely-accepted soft-roader “SUV” that was really just a different-looking minivan. The beginning of the end of The Car and the beginning of the

Neon. It is the ninetiest car to ever nineties. When I picture a nineties car it in nearly always Neon-esque with its circles and soapbars look.

Anything in teal with automatic shoulder belts.

F*ck these people…

I saw commercial for the Durango Hellcat that said, “Forget everything you know about performance SUVs!” So I did. And it was a load off my mind.

This post leaves the important bits out. From a Dodge press release:

I rarely side with automakers or dealers, but damn these owners suck and just need to deal with it. This is literally how every consumer product works. Unless there was a contract or documentation stating these would never be made again... too fucking bad? This is what you get for overpaying for stupid vehicles.

That looks really great. But if I were to wash my car today, this is the reality:

Fun fact, those fabric flaps at car washes are called mitters.

Totally agree, if you actually drive the car, it’s gonna get dinged. The second day (Second day!!!) I had my 2017 Focus ST home, my wife opened her door into my door putting a little dent in it and a little scratch. Was I pissed? For about 5 seconds, then it was like well that is out of the way now, let’s go to auto

Ha. No. Fuck that. If it’s 15F out and I want to clean the salt off my car, I’m going to a car wash, brushless or with brushes. Washing it myself in below freezing? Fuck. That. It really doesn’t matter that much. If it’s a car you really, truly care about and want to look good, you’ll be getting a new clear coat on it

Trying to treat your daily like a show car is futile in 4 season climates. Hell, ice crystals and 60mph salt water spray does more damage than any car wash. So, just using your car as a car in winter is damaging.

I don’t use a carwash on my cars but my wife has an unlimited membership for her van. Is the van covered in swirls? Of course, but it will hardly affect resale, especially considering what my kids spill inside of it. Better to have a bad wash than having it be really trashed.
