And certainly not the last.

On the other hand, I bought a 1980 Pontiac Grand Safari Wagon with the 5.7 Diesel for $25 in 1995 after it had been sitting for over 10 years. I put a couple of batteries in it, drizzled some gas (a little breath o’ death) down the throttle body, and the damned thing fired right up and I headed for home. Was a great

Many are forced to do so by their employer or university. Sad!

“Suspect was last seen actively shooting strings of a web-like substance from some kind of alien weapon.”

I bit the hard metal dash of my dad’s 1973 Monte Carlo when I was 3. I didn’t want to bite it, but a hard stop from 60mph caused my unbelted body to fly into it.

Awww, c’mon, who doesn’t want Camry Solara tail lights on their pickup?

I bet all those people he was passing on the double yellow slowly motored past his catastrophe, grinning and giving him the finger.

Smart is a tiny shitty vehicle that doesn’t actually get very good mpg. Better off with a Civic.

I went for a month with my mirrors adjusted like this. I found that having mirrors set to a very wide angle was very distracting as objects near the far edge of the mirror were rushing past sideways instead of slowly entering my field of view. This was made worse in city night driving.

Meanwhile, in Livonia, MI, a distracted bus driver plowed into the back of my wife’s stopped car at 45-50mph totaling her car as well as the one in front of her. The bumper of the bus overtopped our car’s bumper and stopped less than 12" from the back of my 2-year old’s head. We never got any answers as to why this

My elementary school bus driver went bombing through the middle of a 200 acre apple orchard once to get around a rural county road closure. It was muddy and she was rowing the late 1970's International through the gears at full throttle. I was in the back seat and gleefully watched the mud spraying out the back.

That truck driver is fuckin’ frosty!

I see more of Admiral Ackbar:

Here are a few minor items on their marked-off checklist that clearly hadn’t been checked and are easily serviced: battery terminals severely corroded, cabin air filter appeared to have never been changed, PCV hose was disconnected and blowing oil all over the topside of the engine.

I have purchased several CPO cars. The CPO Hondas that I bought were in tip-top shape with all checklist issues addressed prior to me buying them. The Chevrolet Equinox and Toyota Matrix I bought came with a marked off checklist, but a number of issues that were claimed to be inspected and rectified were not. I

Won’t raising the speed limits result in most people simply raising their max speed to 5-10mph over the new posted limit? Or will they be more strictly enforcing the new, higher limits?
