I went for a month with my mirrors adjusted like this. I found that having mirrors set to a very wide angle was very distracting as objects near the far edge of the mirror were rushing past sideways instead of slowly entering my field of view. This was made worse in city night driving.

Have you ever installed a child seat? The lower anchors are easy enough to release and reattach. The upper tether anchor is a PITA when you don’t have access to the back side of the seat you’re attaching to. Plus having to do this every time you go somewhere is even more of a PITA.
Or better yet, the 3rd row lacks the proper anchors to mount your kid seats, so you have to put them in the 2nd row. This means you can’t fold the 2nd row to allow adults or bigger kids to get to the 3rd row. So they end up climbing through the hatch and over the back of the 3rd row, just like 1983 all over again. …
