Technically, because there was no year 0, everything is kind of off by a year, so that applies to, like, the millenium and stuff. It hadn’t yet been 2000 years in the year 2000.

But we’ve always called decades by whatever the “0" year was in that group of 10. It would be silly to call the 80s the 80s and not include

Why is everyone acting like consoles haven’t been shown off standing vertically since the PS2 and every single one of them has been able to be used on its side?

I mean, you can place it horizontally.

Oh my god, thank you so much for succinctly downvoting this guy. I work IT and 95% of the problems I see are end users who don’t know how to maintain their systems, in part because of attitudes like this. The mentality of, “it works today, so it’ll work tomorrow,” is dangerous and downright wrong. That’s like assuming

Because it looks daft?

Hi,

Yes, they were - the industry is desperately trying to catch up to BOTW as we speak.

As some that owns both a Switch and PS4 - and platinumed Horizon - BOTW and Odyssey deserved all the praise they got. I don’t even like platformers. Both Horizon and BOTW are from the same Ubi open world game mold, and are among the best of those games, but I give the edge to Zelda for the environmental interactions

Those 2017 Nintendo games were miles beyond everything else.

So pumped for this!

I liked a flavor of soda. I wrote about it. That’s it. Sometimes I write about soda flavors I dislike too.

This ain’t Kaze Emanuar’s first Mario 64 ROM hack. He’s got a decent following on YouTube. Nintendo doesn’t need another Kotaku article to know he exists.

Uh, it seems more like they wrote and created a really cool black soldier lady and put her in a very important story position so they wanted to wait to fully introduce her until they do their story focused sequel?

I mean like, no one is making you buy anything, dude. Overwatch has been receiving free updates for over three years now and will continue to receive them with the release of OW2. I have 300 hours in Overwatch and haven't spent a penny after that initial purchase, I don’t know what you’re complaining about.

“Has the generation of gamers changed enough to the point that no one remembers how awful it was that Valve did this?”

Eh, the game was that but Overwatch was designed to be a multimedia endeavor; the comics, cinematics, and short stories were meant to fill in the gaps in the lore leftover by the very nature of a PvP game like Overwatch. But somewhere along the way, the lore slowed to a trickle, and fans who really like that side of

The game was only $40 at launch and added so much content that one could argue it’s given out the equivalent of multiple expansions worth of content already.  I’m not going to pitch a fit if they go after another $40.

And that’s exactly why you don’t find this trailer appealing. You don’t play the game and you don’t have a single clue about the characters. Was it filled with clever and award winning dialogue? No. Doesn’t have to be. It’s overwatch for crying out loud. Many will appreciate this trailer regardless because you know,

“Maybe its that I don’t play Overwatch and I’m not really attached to any of the characters

This is different than most things people might be mad about in that it’s within Blizzard’s power to completely fix things. Just give everyone their jobs back. The quality or existence of the apology is irrelevant. This is like stealing someone’s dog and apologizing, but not giving the dog back. Like he said, it’s
